Ideally am hoping we're in a position to get Beck on along with Robbo (if we're wanting to give him run out minutes)

Reading some of the comments on here with regards to the starting 11, jeez...

You would think we are playing Barcelona and are down a couple of goals from the first leg.

Relax guys, we are playing Fulham, and have won the first game so even a draw will see us through to the final. We got this.

Not watching the pre match build up on Sky as they have that idiot roadman Liverpool hater Antonio from West Ham as a pundit.

Watching it muted
I wondered who the dickhead in the silly headgear was.

Mind you, Studge looks like his ma has knitted him a new scarf for Christmas and insists on him wearing it.

guess we were both wrong! only person I'd ideally have liked to see more protected than Jota and Konate was Mac, but we don't have any alternatives so we're continuing to lean on him heavily post-injury return. I hope he has the weekend completely off. his fitness could define the next run of league games
Yep, but happy enough with that, 2 of the 3 who have come out took knocks so I guess it’s finding the right balance between strong as poss and looking to the rest of the season.

Quansah, Gakpo & Gravenberch not exactly bad replacements either

Strange to see kelleher start this one when we have another cup game at the weekend at home. He’ll definitely be tested tonight and hopefully he can pull off some saves. Can see why Ibou Jota and jones are on the bench though when they’ve all had injury problems in the past.

No, jazz. You fear jazz. You fear the lack of rules, the lack of boundaries. Oh look, it's a fence. But, no, it's soft.

We would make the final much harder for ourselves for no reason if we started Kelleher. It's just a stupid thing to do.

We would do the right thing if we started Kelleher, and Klopp 100% will if he is fit and we make it through. It's incredible that you can't understand why Klopp will always do that, and how much that's part of his strength as a person and a manager. It's not stupid at all, it's entirely consistent with his whole managerial style and ethos.

Does it need to be pointed out again that Fulham have not played a game in nearly two weeks?

The players need to do that, and I have the utmost belief that they will.

How we, the fans who will be watching the game from the comfort of our sofas, think or approach the game will have absolutely fuck all to do with the outcome of game.

if we start shit and afford them the early goal then I can see it being a long night. Biggest game in Fulham's history for yonks so they will be up for it. Need to silence the crowd and get an early goal.

Yeah. Play the same 11 until we run them into the ground and cryarse when they can no longer even walk properly. Great team management that.

The selection makes sense to me - this is not about not playing your strongest 11, it's about playing your freshest 11. And only Klopp and the coaching staff have the information.

Thankfully, the drop off is not that large and there is still the option to bring them all from the bench. To be the honest, the area that most concerns with the changes is Jones not playing in the midfield. He has been critical in keeping us compact and not leaving Mac all by himself in defending transitions. Grav and Elliot are both much more attacking than Jones.

So midfield is more of a concern for me even though you'd rightly argue that Quansah for Konate is a bigger drop off.

In any case, I don't think the drop off is that much and if we play as well as we can, we should be beating Fulham. Up the Reds!

He's visibly worse than he was two years ago, and I disagreed with it then anyway. If we make it to any final you should pick the strongest team you have available.

Even though he's been promised the league Cup games? No loyalty?
