so refreshing to see Lando win his first race.. Well deserved, although was a little lucky with the SC timing..

MClaren looking really strong with their driving paring, with both their drivers being future champ material IMO.

What has happened to the Merc team using the same engines..?

The way he moved away from Verstappen after the safety car was impressive. You can tell how popular he is; I don't think I've seen a race before where every man and their dog went out of their way to hug the winner.

Fingers crossed McLaren can continue to improve after those upgrades.

Just finished watching. That was really quite lovely. Made up for Lando and I think that was a popular victory regardless of who one may support. It's going to be interesting to see if this was a one-off, or if those Mclaren upgrades have significantly closed the gap to Red Bull.

I also really enjoyed the most epic battle of the day, which was of course Leclerc Vs his collar in the post race interview.

Anyone else absolutely baffled what Sainz issue with Piastri was? Sainz seemed to lose his head for about 4 laps complaining when I saw literally nothing wrong.

He was claiming he had pushed him off, I think he said initially. Then got a bee in the bonnet about it. The stewards looked at the incident and took no action anyway.
