This is the first ever meeting between Sunderland and the club that replaced Newcastle.

Sunderland last played the old club in 2016.

Didn't realise there was a game tomorrow night, hopefully the result brightens up an otherwise dull Thursday night.

Seems mad having an FA Cup tie on a Thursday.

Everton might cease to exist before the weekend. so they thought it best to have the tie earlier in the week.

Looks like all the London clubs got drawn at home for this round of the cup, so I guess they are spreading them out!

There’s lots of very unattractive ties as there often is, but the TV companies will often go for the all prem ones, regardless of how turgid the teams are.

A 0-0 bore draw, where the only talking point is a VAR offside call on Beto in the 56th minute.

Quite staggering that... even Luton and Watford (do those count as London clubs?).

If this were boxing, it would be a London vs Merseyside showdown, with us v Arsenal as the main fight and CP vs the blues as the undercard.

Hospitality in their own home end. How embarrassing. Surely you'd want the atmosphere boiling with hate for a Cup match, especially as underdogs. Must be something to do with money somewhere along the line.
