Apparently... every time he gets the ball he just tries to run past the opposition's entire midfield and then comes a cropper just before he can stick it in the net. AND... hes never ever passed to a team mate.

RAWK facts .

AND... off the ball hes even worse.

Apparently.

I don’t think they’ll press, they’ll sit deep I reckon.

Need to play with tempo.

Yep - we also need to keep the pitch wide. United's formation looks ultra defensive/compact with 3 defensive mids, which will encourage Trent to play in midfield so we dont get maintain control. Reality is we will need width to break them down so I hopefully Endo plays sufficiently well for Trent to be able to pull out wide

Team sheets in number order should be banned

Agreed. Always annoyed me seeing other teams do that, I dont why Liverpool have started doing it.
Annoying to have to go back and forth up the list working out what the team on the pitch looks like.

Umm ok. Never said any of those things, but the truth is he hasn't played well his last few games.

Sorry mate - wasn't directed at you.

Just not too fond of folk piling on a player who's young, still adapting to a new scheme, city and culture.

Reckon Jurgen thinks he can do alright in this one - but we'll see.

I think Endo will be fine as long as he moves the ball quick, doesn't try to protect it or take people on. Just keep it simple, move it forward quickly.

I think that part of keeping Trent at RB (at least in terms of a formation graphic) and playing Endo at 6 is that it gives you an attacking change option later. If we need a goal in the second half, we can move Trent fully into midfield and have Gomez on at RB.

As long as the lads keep their focus and energy levels up we should do alright, being at Anfield is also a plus. Make no mistake, Mancs are wounded animals at the moment, pretty sure they will raise their game to just a bit better than totally shite. Just nervous that Onana suddenly has a decent game, heh.

It’s a bit odd that they’ve left a big gap between the upper and lower tier of the baffle road end.

I guess the front seats corporate and the concourses aren’t ready?

Feels harsh on Harvey and Curtis. Time for Ryan and Endo to step it up a level.

Get these twatted.

Hopefully there is a wicked atmosphere and some of their more inexperienced players go into their shell.

If we can get an early goal I think that will settle us and allow us to control the game.

Apologies if it’s been covered
But they have just shown the Annie Road and it looks like the centre strip is not being used. I thought it was all open now.

Nothing is ever certain in this fixture. I remember beating them during a torrid season, when they were reigning champions and David Ngog was on our scoresheet. Similarly, we've been frustrated by them when we're flying under Klopp and they're languishing under whoever. I remember an annoying draw at Old Trafford under Solksjaer for example.

That 7-0 has warped people's perceptions a little. We're rightfully favourites, but this game is never ever a sure thing.

Klopp clearly doesn’t want to use him as the holding midfielder.

Even if he did, you wouldn’t choose this game to try it out.
