Would be great, not even for this game but would mean he'd be fine for Arsenal.

I always reckoned Arsenal would be the more likely one, I can't see him playing today as he hasn't trained (as far as we know!).

was just gonna post the same.

the kit man isn't gonna do that in error, and it makes no sense as a "fake out MU" move ... so ..... no, I'm not gonna go there.

Klopp said Mac Allister won't be available for this game so I highly doubt he'll be playing. Would be big boost even if he's on thr bench though.

This game will  be a lot harder than people seem to expect.
After last season and the fact how crap they've been Utd have to turnup or they'll support will turn on them. Besides, plenty of times we've not turned up ourselves.

We should  win 3-0 easily but wouldn't be shocked if it was a 1-1.

Agree. I’m far more nervous about this game than some who seem to think it’s a done deal.

I remember when we were in our ‘70s and ‘80s pomp and United were not serious challengers. They almost always got a performance out of an inferior team and although I don’t have the stats, like Everton, they got decent results.

So like others, I’ll settle for 3 points and a narrow win.

Ha! It looks like they're just seeing how he goes day by day given the nature of the injury. His comments were on Wednesday when he said he won't make this game and then we'll see.

It's unlikely he'll start regardless as we would have been preparing with a midfield without him but the sooner he's back the better.

Alternatively I could be talking bollocks and he'll play 90 minutes and get man of the match.

Just go out today, fully focused, calm and professional Redmen. Chances will absolutely come, put 1 or 2 away with hopefully no new injuries and that will do nicely; 13 points clear of this crowd of jokers with 17 played and it's onto the next one.

Just watched the last 20 mins of last year on LFC TV. Them bastards were on a wind up mission by then 4-0 down and petulantly kicking out all over the pitch. Not to mention Fernandes dive as though shot clutching his ugly mug cos Konate ran past him. Klopp needs to be warning our boys what to expect from the Manc Rats but Im sure he will. Dont give em any reason to start flashing cards at us

Alison
Gomez Konate Virgil Kostas
              Trent
    Dom.           Grav
Salah.  Nunez.      Diaz

Think this will be the team, with TAA starting from the 6 position for the first time this season.

4-0 comfortable win.

It does feel like Trent will be the 6 today given Mac Allister's injury, Endo playing mid-week and with Trent recently moving into midfield when we've been chasing the game. Will be an interesting test for him.

Hate this game. Name feel comfortable. 90 minutes of anxiety.

Agree with the above posts, never really feel comfortable with the shouts it should be an easy win. Worried about them on the counter - it's the one thing they do well, and it's the one thing we struggle with.

I'd bite your hand off for a 1-0.

Optimistic, but remind myself they have everything to win and we need to keep on winning. I expect us to take charge of the game and I hope we can score an early goal. That I suspect could have a huge impact on this game. Should they score first this could become difficult.

I'd love us to just 'click'. Midfield and attack to play like slick units and batter these shitehawks. Set us up lovely for the next few games and show other teams what they are up against. To be where we are whilst not playing great is testament to the Manager and the players.
