It was a foul, albeit it wasn't blatant. But considering Burnley and West Ham have been goals against us for much worse challenges on Alisson in recent years, I'll take that.

It's kind of amazing how little impact on the match Haaland has outside of the goal box.  He's invisible until the ball is close and then it's like a magnet right to him.  A great goal scorer no doubt.

Now, he is one homely character without question, but he also seems to be a decent enough bloke.  Our players seem to like him and a lot of them were talking and laughing with him in the breaks.  That seems evidence enough that he's probably not a dick (which B Silva is without a doubt!)

Based on Newcastle, Tottenham and City away games we look incredibly hard to beat. Looks so organized compared to last season. Even though it is a bit shaky at times there was more or less no clear cut chances for the other teams that I can recall (maybe I remember it wrongly).

First half thought we gave the ball away far too much.  Sloppy mistakes until eventually we got punished for it.  Ironically after that, I thought we'd stopped messing around with it at the back and started moving the ball quicker.

Second half, thought we were more solid and Trent's sublime touch and finish.

Great to see Diaz's dad in amongst friends at the away end.  Happier times ahead.

I loved the way we pulled them horizontally left to right in the second half. It forced them backwards at least ten yards and allowed us a bit more space to build from the back. The worry was we'd not be able to hit them on the break, which always seemed possible in the first half. Thought it was smart of JK to put RG on. Agains the low block - which was what Man City started playing! - he's terrific.

I am well chuffed with the result. We have a number of big games out of the way and we're just one point away from City having played them away from home. We'd all have taken that if it was offered to us before the start of the season. Just hope Alisson isn't too badly hurt...

not easy for him though sitting on the bench and only playing once every few weeks or once a month.  When he gets a run of games you would hope he'll perform better

People have said this but I'm not sure how true it really is. Will give you Toulouse away but thought he was alright at Bournemouth and didn't really do anything wrong at home to Toulouse other than that poor pass. People said he should have came out for the goal but he's really not a make himself big type of keeper so they probably decide that on the training ground. Defence was pulled apart for it and really the striker should be scoring anyway.

Those fixtures should not be dependent on who's in goal, and obviously it's a big drop off from Alisson, they're just games it'd be poor not to win. Also, another thing about back up goalies is they never play in front of a first choice outfield. There's shots in those Europa League games which we often wouldn't concede with the regular back four.

Yep he was starting the next game anyway, I think he’ll be fine. We’ve then got a home game v Fulham you’d like to think he won’t be too busy in. Then 2 away games that are a concern, more due to our away form than him being in goal. Don’t think he’ll let us down

I think it was a foul but only just, because he’s got his hands on Alisson’s arm but there wasn’t a lot of pressure there.

He also then made sure Alisson was only going backwards. Think the follow up made it impossible not to give a free kick. You might think bit was soft but we’d all be fuming if they’d been awarded a goal for that.
