Another must win game. I look at citys games and only Fulham away could be a challenge even if theyre no the beach fulham, they might want to turn it on for the last home game of the season. We must keep winning until then. If city win that its done as they wont drop points today or at spurs or home to west ham, but we need to keep the pressure on till fulham away.

Yeh id go with that. Id actually go for Isak ahead of Haaland. They might get van de ven in, hes faster than usaine bolt, bolt is better at defending corner though.

Watkins should be the #9 for mine. Actually, being British and playing for a likely CL qualifier means there's a fair chance he gets in. Maybe if ADFC doesn't win the title.

If you watched Liverpool's previous 5 games, you just might want Ben Tan at right back.
Yeah like you've watched Liverpool's last 5 games (apart from the scoreline) ...  ::)

People just talk shit for the sake of it.

We've been there, don't get your hopes up. We displatched Fulham pretty easily the other week, City will walk it.

You needed to try and beat them in the match against them instead of playing for a draw. As we know only too well, City don't drop any points at this stage.

Re: Ben White, the team of the year will be a combined 9 of Arsenal and Man City players, plus Palmer and VVD. Doesn't matter if it's right or wrong, it's how these things work.

Raya
White Saliba Virgil Akanji/Ake/Gvardiol (according to taste)
Foden Rice Rodri
Palmer Haaland Saka

Wouldn't surprise me if they shoehorn De Bruyne in despite having played about 5 games, and maybe swap Raya for a shite team's goalie who's made a lot of highlight reel saves (call it the Kaminski Method)
Onana has stopped bucket loads of shots.
"All the lads have been talking about is walking out in front of the Kop, with 40,000 singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'," Collins told BBC Radio Solent. "All the money in the world couldn't buy that feeling," he added.

I know we say imagine if that was Salah but I’ve never seen Salah dive for a penalty like that and it’s not like that prick Havertz hasn’t got form for doing it …But already on the BBC page they’re saying there was contact so what chance have you got

I can remember plenty in here about 4/5 games ago saying City and Arse would both drop  points. The time when some of us  were saying we  couldn't afford to drop points.

Arsenal have had 6 penalties in 8 games, can't compete with that.

Arsenal dropped points and that's it's not in their hands now.

If we'd kept it in our hands for 1/2 games, we'd have probably extended our lead. It shows how tight the margins are.

I genuinely can't wait for them to feel it. Whatever about 2019, we won the European Cup a few weeks later but I genuinely haven't felt the same since leaving Anfield post 2022.

Yep.   And I strongly believe it (and the CL final loss) affected the team for the whole of the following season.  :(

We happened to win at least a trophy in every season we've competed with them so we've not really experienced it. The closest feeling is when Kompany scored that goal.

As a football fan, I can say that they deserve to win it. Not a fan of the bluenose at the helm but the fact that they might not win it shows where football is today.

Not much more than a set piece and penalty side. If they are refereed fairly or have a couple of injuries next season the drop off could be huge

& maybe the back end of this season as well. Since Paris, a couple of results don't go our way the team implodes. The last few weeks the lack of fight has been bad. Btw desperately wanting the tragedy chanting, Sean Cox mocking, 115 cheats to win the league over Arsenal, is bizarre. All my life Arsenal has been the 1 rival club where 90% of the banter hasn't been below the belt and is purely football related.

I wouldn’t want City to win anything, but if Arsenal win the media will take it as an excuse to dismiss the cheating City have done and downplay the achievements by Klopp. The most likely way that City are dealt with appropriately and the pressure keeps up on the charges is paradoxically for what we want in the long term, for City to keep winning.

If City don’t win the story should be about how much of a failure this season is for them, not about dismissing the charges, but it won’t be the case. It’s a highly frustrating situation. If I felt it wouldn’t help City in the long run, I’d rather Arsenal won, as they’d really deserve it.

I think the time to do anything about them has passed. Seems pretty obvious to me that had it been United in our place these last 6/7 years the media would have been all over it. City were convenient because they stopped those scousers ruling the country again.

At worst I think City get a 'big' points deduction, managed so essentially it's one seasons drop off for them. Then back on it the next, their sins atoned for and that'll be the narrative.
