Gomez too?
Gomez is injured, since he went off at home to Madrid last week (his injury wasn't obvious at the time). Klopp confirmed he is out for tonight.

And Cup Tied
This isn't a cup match. We already beat Wolves in the cup, before Brighton knocked us out.

Keita binned from squad

Is it simply dropped or a knock? Either way, it's both disappointing and utterly unsurprising. Until this season I was on the fence about Keita, and wouldn't have described him as a flop, but now I can't wait for the guy to go. He gives the illusion of squad depth while hardly ever actually providing it, all while drawing a big wage. Good riddance.

Keep Neves quiet and they fall apart

That's an overstatement.  He really isn't that good, but of course our midfield will make anyone look good these days.  Fabinho would look fantastic in that Wolves midfield. ;D

Keita binned from squad

Whatever you think of Oxlade it would have been insulting to leave him out the match day selection after Keita's 45 minute stroll around at Palace 🙄

This is so obvious it shouldn't even need to be said. Even an exhausted and out of form Robertson is miles better than the willing but brainless and slow Tsimikas. An over the hill Henderson with his legs gone is still a far more dependable midfielder than Elliott (good player, but no physical presence whatsoever and therefore not a midfielder).

I can understand they're getting rested because they're getting overworked recently, but it quite simply makes our team worse.

Is this satire?

I snapped with him a while ago. doing the shop window thing while trying to avoid any injury's at the same time, he played 45 minutes like he could when Klopp started him after the WC and knowing what he can do and watching him not do it just bleep my bleep bleep bleeeeep ing piece of BLEEEEP (feed dies)  (Test Pattern) (We will be back shortly).

Seriously, totally done. First guy ive bussed since diouf. You can be any level of player for us and if you simply try hard i'll back you. Nat Phillips is a hero. Rhys Williams buy that kid a drink. Naby could be in the balon dor running if he wanted to imo.  If he wanted to.

anyway lets get 3 points here we need em.

I wonder if we will see a double pivot in midfield, Fabinho and Bajcetic? It might add a bit more solidity. 4231.

Anyway, here's hoping we gather three valuable points and start to look upwards in the table, as top four is still there to be won.

Worried again for the midfield, not sure how much offensive work Elliott be able to do without leaving us too exposed.

BBC resorting Nunez in the middle but I reckon Jota will do better there especially as he works his way back to match sharpness.

Early goal like we did against them in the cup will help massively.
