Feel like I’ve gone quite blockbusterry so far, so something a bit niche would be out of place.

Come and See is the only film that has shaken me physically and mentally. I am too much of a coward to watch it again. There are scenes that sent a chill through my spine and made the hair on my arms stand up.

The only life experience I had that I can compare this film too was being in a hostage/armed robbery situation once.

It's a masterpiece on all levels of filmmaking. The camera work and the sound design are so beautiful but at the same time immersive. Its scary to be immersed in the world of this film.

It’s an extraordinary film indeed but one you probably watch just once. Remember reading that they used real bullets during some of the fighting scenes before watching it, and it made it even more horrifying.

It’s an extraordinary film indeed but one you probably watch just once. Remember reading that they used real bullets during some of the fighting scenes before watching it, and it made it even more horrifying.

They used hypnosis on the lead actor to give him the catatonic and shell-shocked look needed for the last part of the film. That Hitler photo scene with stock footage is burnt into my memory forever because of the look on the boy's face.
