I’m not sure we can really moan if a draw which clearly had an issue gets redrawn and subsequently we draw a stronger opponent in the correctly done draw. Would be fucking infuriating but not really anything to actually complain about.

If they redraw will it be the whole set of fixtures as in a complete reset?  Or do they let the Benfica vs. Real fixture stand as that was before any mistakes happened?  Do they let the Villareal vs. Man City fixture stand as that - whilst embarrassing - didn't actually alter the draw?

It feels like whichever option they choose they're going to be annoying some clubs.

The screen showed the teams as if it was the Villarreal draw - with United in red and everyone else (including LFC) in green.
But they should have stopped and questioned it, especially when the announcer said "Man United have already been drawn"

I suspect that the reason for it is so that it remains a competition where teams play others from different countries for as long as reasonably possible.
