I thought there was plenty of desire and work there today, but our attacking play is just predictable and powder puff. I love Firmino, but hate his shooting, he either spoons his shots like he has a club foot, or they have the power of a 6 year old. We need a proper lethal striker.

On the subject of the refs, they are making watching Prem games a horrible experience, not good for your mental health. I don’t know what’s going on this season, but for me it’s a massive turn off watching PL games, all the joy has been sucked out. Watching a CL game is like night and day.

Klopp won the league after 30 years. By far the best manager we have while I have been alive. He is a living legend. If he got sacked over this, I would be done, as I know my club is no better than the likes of  Chelsea then. I would feel betrayed as a fan and ashamed for the club.

But also we've just not had the back-up options who could come in as rotation options - and then when we finally do get in a genuine alternative in the shape of Jota and it looks like our problems are solved, he gets a long-term injury.

If we hadn't played those three constantly, we simply wouldn't have won what we have won in the last few years. That's not meant as a slight on our squad players, it's just that those three are among the very best in the world, so any back-up options are going to be a big drop-off.

Apart from a 10 minute spell at the start of the 2nd half, there want any part of me that thought we'd get anything out of the game.

There was no desire, fight, intensity, hunger, aggression to our play at all.

We were the home team - they were happy to let us have the ball.
