How Jurgen Klopp copied Pep Guardiola to create Liverpool FC success  ::)

https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/man-city-liverpool-guardiola-klopp-17736066

I like what Brennan has done there, take the exact moment after we receive £140m for Coutinho and haven't used any money for replacements, and then compare our spending with City's from that point.

And City still spent more.

i still feel that the liverpool hacker thing tapping into our account and scouting reports have a big deal on both uefa and them ?? a hacker leaked the story about emails having details of city paying money into another accounts ??? its funny how the liverpool hacker was found out ?? and why did we (city) settle out of court ? because the book would have been thrown at liverpool and big troubles in what they did even, it could even end up with demotion to a lower league with breaking rules

liverpool have so much power in euerope and with uefa board so maybe a deal was struck and its why we settled out of court

We can laugh now, but we laughed at Trump once too.

The comments I've seen by the Blue Loonies on here show a worrying trend of what they wish they, their club and their paymasters would do if they could get away with it.

They want to bend and break the entire football establishment to their will. They expect to be treated like Real Fucking Madrid after just 10 years and don't give a shit about who they piss off in the process.

If the past decade is Abu Dhabi FC "playing nice" then nasty is going to be all out war.

Such a fucking despicable club. For once I think United could be doing us a favour and helping to keep their fandom/popularity down.

Like them or not, Chelsea are now for real a big club and you could see that happening over the first 10 years of Abramovich. City still feel like a small club with a lot of money.

Maybe if they shut up and stopped moaning about it and stopped trying to do in 10 years what takes most clubs at least 30 they might start winning people over.

I do know that the more people whinge and demand respect the less likely they are to get it.

Interesting chat about these scruffy twats on talksport a minute ago. Essentially saying that CAS are probably going to side with UEFA as expected but city will be determined to take it to European Court & go as far as they can. If they appeal a 1 year CL ban, is it likely to increase if they lose their appeal?

UEFA as a governing body has a golden chance here to put their foot down and show that they aren't to be fucked with when it comes to FFP. They'd better not bottle it!

Still this is an interesting development?  Did hackers leak the potential punishment early?

If - and it's a big IF - City did receive a CL ban (let's assume it's upheld) would England only have three teams in the CL or would the 5th place team get promoted?  I only ask because I wouldn't want United to sneak into the CL by the back door, even though the Blue Looney meltdown would be delicious.

Honestly can't believe anybody is still chucking that "Klopp said he'd quit if he had to spend a shed load, blah blah" argument.  He said himself he'd had to alter his mindset due to insane spending levels by rivals and competitors.

Brennan's articles may as well be published directly to the blueloon homepage. It's a City fan column, designed to push their batshit mental ideas to other City fans. Not a crumb of actual, investigative or informative journalism to be found.

Yeah Brennan is City's answer to Duncan Castles.

"Guardiola turns average players into very good ones" got me thinking though. I'm not massively in to the Guardiola v Klopp debate - they are both great managers - but one thing that I've always appreciated about Klopp is his ability to develop relatively unestablished players. He's signed the likes of Mane, Salah, Wijnaldum, Robertson and established them as some of the best players in their positions. Henderson has matured into the heartbeat of the best side in Europe. Lovren and Lallana were subject to criticism and jokes but they're still key members of the squad now. I can't see Guardiola replicating any of this at City. During his time there he has signed very good players, and they've performed as expected. Stones, Walker, Gabriel Jesus, Gundogan are about the same level as they have been for years. Sane, Cancelo, Mendy were highly regarded players but none of them seem to have a future there. Danilo didn't last long. Perhaps it's why they've struggled this year. It feels like this Liverpool team are growing together each year. City, not so much.

Think it's fair to say that City have signed some players who arrived just before their peak years and have then improved during their time there, just like the LFC ones you note. De Bruyne, Sterling, Sane and Bernardo Silva are four that spring to mind.
