We're going to destroy three clubs next season forever.

A centurion, invincible treble season, killing City, Arsenal and United forever

in all seriousness, our team hasn't reached its ceiling yet

"My idea was to build Liverpool into a bastion of invincibility. Napoleon had that idea. He wanted to conquer the bloody world. I wanted Liverpool to be untouchable. My idea was to build Liverpool up and up until eventually everyone would have to submit and give in."

You can go for everything again, as long as the team is reinforced accordingly. To stay in constant success it is known that you need to keep the team strong and strong in all its lines. If that is understood, I see a hegemonic Liverpool.

Naby Keita to get 10+ goals and assists.

Liverpool to struggle in the minor cup competitions, using the U-23s in them to combat the brutal schedule that’s been forecasted.

Man City to get more points than they did this season.

Liverpool to get less points than they did this season.

A closer title race.

90+ points.

CL quarters at minimum.

We go further in the domestic cups.

Salah 20+ goals.

And a negative one... a key player picks up a fairly substantial injury.

90+ points

Winning it by 10-15 points

Deep into the CL

Using the domestic cups to rest first teamers and play younger and fringe players

Leeds to be relegated along with Sheffield Utd

City struggle to sustain the levels of the last two seasons.
We get less than 90 points but walk it.
Everyone calls us “shit Champions” as if every fucking winner in history got 95+ points.

We don’t give a toss and have a big fucking party.  I’ll see you there.

Meh. Well we could have got less than 90 points and walked it.  There's still plenty of "shit champions" shouts.  Shame about the party, sounds like we'll still get one eventually though.

Next season. I reckon we bring home one of the big ones, either number 20 or number 7. Injuries permitting I'm leaning towards the league again, I think there's still a fair bit of hunger there.  The boys might be feeling a bit robbed of a moment with the fans and will be giving it all in the hope that they get one next time.

Although I hear winning European Cups in Istanbul is fun.

2. We will win the Champions' League

3. 3rd in the Prem behind Chelsea and Man City

4. We will win the Charity Shield

5. Salah will be top scorer- 30+ goals

6. Keita, Fabinho and Wijnaldum will be our go-to midfield

That 5th point isn't bold. He's been top scorer for last 3 seasons though it would be easy to forget to be fair

We'll win the league again by a significant distance, between 10-15 points
Curtis Jones will win Young Player The Year
Man United will finish above Man City, Guardiola will leave
Newcastle will get taken over but get relegated
Harvey Elliott will get at least ten games under his belt.

Get the odd feeling we might make an FA Cup or League Cup Final this year, given the lack of replays and relatively decent squad depth and quality of our younger players. The FA Cup means very little these days, but it's still been too long.

Everton will finally beat us by a controversial goal

We will really thrash Man City at some point (CL maybe) which will cause Pep to have an actual breakdown

We will win the FA Cup, make the CL final and come 3rd in the PL (but will win it again in 21/22 with either Sancho or Mbappe having replaced Mo or Sadio)

Lose the league on pens.

Nah, but genuinely think it will be tough. Asking for a 3rd season of near invincibility is too much. We seem to suffer without fans too.

If it was the City side of 18 months ago I think we'd have little chance of the title but a lot of their stalwarts are on their last legs and the manner of the defeat to Lyon will leave scars. If we get Thiago and City don't get Messi I'd make us favourites for the title.

Chelsea have bought brilliantly but I don't rate Lampard at all. We'll be Top 3 no matter what, and the points needed for the title will be more normal points wise, a pre Pep season.

If we avoid Bayern I can't see anything less than the CL semis. Really need to take the cups more seriously this season.

Have a feeling Arsenal will get 4th over Utd.

I don't think we will win a trophy next year, but I don't think it will be a disaster either.

Reckon we will go further in the cups this time around, and further in the CL, and probably finish second in the league.  Feels like we're entering a bit of a transition period, where Klopp wants to bring the youngsters into the fold.  That will probably lead to some inconsistent form and results, but the lads need more experience than what the cups have to offer.

Yeah, other teams will crow, but I think we'll be quietly confident in ourselves to be patient.

That said, if cup draws are kinder to us, we might bag ourselves an LC or FAC. :)

Top 3? Who is good enough to finish ahead of us?

Sorry but this thread is fucking crazy this time of the year. Last year many of the predictions were dog shit and the last 4 opinions have been utter shite.

You think we'll finish behind Chelsea? Even if there were a 30 point swing, where they pick-up 15 more points than last season, and we drop 15 more points than last season, we'd still finish ahead of them. I know they bought some shiny new players, but players take time to incorporate, not all of them are going to be successes, and they will still all be managed by Frank Lampard. I know this thread is for bold predictions, but that seems to go beyond bold.

I foresee we will win nothing.
We will finish 4th.
City will do the league and cup double and united will win the league cup. Juventus will win champions league.

Our top scorer will be Mane with 15 league goals.

Keita will have a decent season and Shaqiri might pick up a knock or two.

Schadenfreude. Pretty much sums me up.

We’ve bagged nearly 200 points in two seasons; and the core of that side is very much at peak age.

With the side we have, the title should be our absolute aim and anything less is a disappointment.

Think it’s fine to think we may not be as good this year and may not win the things we did in previous years, but if you’re basing that off today’s performance and result then I don’t think you should be taken seriously. It’s just one game. We weren’t even that bad. Levelled up against a side who were playing well only to lose it in a penalty shootout. Not the end of the world and certainly not worthy of such a doom and gloom reaction.

Leeds will be our first genuine must win match since Atletico. A lot of the performances since that second leg have been below our high standards, but they've also been essentially meaningless fixtures. I remember even Roy Keane mentioning that such games are hard to approach mentally. I think a few are basing their predictions on the post-lockdown games, which may turn out to be a mistake.

Regardless, I predict the league this season will be a lot tougher for us.

Top 4 finish would be amazing at the mo. We have gone stale.. not looked ourselves since February in my opinion.. def think a good cup run is on the cards but def no title.. city walk it for me .. no crowds and all that ,we just don’t perform as good without our fans. Anyway who knows !!!
