Completely disagree.

Their 2nd goal Virgil probably should have not let it bounce, but he had ushered Martinelli out of play. Allisson had to just relax and let the ball come to him, yet he went hurtling out unnecessarily.

3rd one took a nick off Virg but it still should be comfortably saved, it wasn't moving quickly and he absolutely should have saved it

Their 2nd Martinelli pushed virgil and Ali kick him instead of the ball. Never going to be given as a foul, but Ali doesnt anticipate virgil being pushed forward. Its a mess but virgil should have cleared, but 90% time Ali would have cleared.

The 3rd is a little unlucky but still should have saved.

But so what? He is the best keeper in the world by a distance and maybe one of the best ever (and I saw Clem!) and he had an off day.

he did nothing wrong, admit virg should not have let it bounce but he was shoved into Ali. Another day saw Ali clear it or Virg deal with it. Virg should not have let in bounce.
But a shove is not a shoulder barge. Two people coming together gave martinelli the chance to shove them into eachother.
Second goal ali would have saved if it had not deflected. Virg should have got across but though Ali would save it, which he would have have done because his angles were perfect but the deflection countered it.
We were not good enough but at every moment were hurt. Two Konate bookings were a joke.

A tiny insignificant blip in his long line of AAAAA-rated credit.

Remember his Leicester blooper a few years back? The difference between him and other mere mortal keepers is this won't affect his confidence or performance in the slightest or lead to a repeat mistake anytime soon. Ali just shrugs these things off.

Exactly. I only have a hazy vague recollection of it, trying to dribble his way out of the penalty area by the touchline and got caught.

Not unreasonable, with the emergence of Jayden Danns, and Virgil and Darwin both proving to be quite handy from set pieces.

Aldo really loses the run of himself at times. This is one of those times.

It's only because Kelleher is Irish, just like John's great grandma in the late 1800s.

I wonder how often keepers actually come up, let alone score? Anyone recall a keeper coming up, then getting done on the counter?
