So if I buy a ticket in my own name, but I can't make it does it mean I can't sell it on?

Once the name is printed on the ticket I don't see how it can be changed.
You can sell it on but if they do check everyone, that person won't get in but if they don't check then no bother...depends on if the person going wants to take the risk.
Quote from: Harvest Fields
i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.

If they do check everyone, the person with my name on the ticket will get twatted with a baton for their effort.

Finding a silver lining at £73 per ticket is very, very Tory.

Yep, it’s infuriating. So in theory, a STH who hasn’t been to any CL/EL home in the last few years gets given priority over members who have been to every single home game in those competition(s)!  :no

Hoping for a miracle and it drops past STH, but in the rare occasions an away sale gets this far, it never does sadly

No way will this drop past STH anyone who has all homes this season and gets this 1 away guarantee themselves a Final ticket and doesn't have to be in a ballot with the other home seaosn ticket holders with all Homes.

And he managed to get a ticket for Porto/City?

I thought the credit was only given if you have this in your history:  "SPARTAK MOSCOW PROOF OF TRAVEL APPROVED"

For that game I have 4 items in my purchase history:
MOSCOW INTENTION TO TRAVEL REGISTRATION
SPARTAK MOSCOW V LIVERPOOL
SPARTAK MOSCOW VISA REIMBURSEMENT
SPARTAK MOSCOW PROOF OF TRAVEL APPROVED

This is true but £73 a ticket might put people off

Imagine lots of STH without euro away credits will see £73 as a price worth paying to guarantee a final ticket should we progress. Everyone on a combination of 7 (all the homes and 1 away) will be guaranteed a ticket if Istanbul, Athens and Basel are anything to go by.

Normally the members name who's ticket it is in.

That will be a fucking disaster. Shit loads won’t get in.

Been to all homes (but not in ACS) and 3 aways (2 on my card). It’s pretty mental that it’s going to be easier to get tix for the semi in Rome than at Anfield.
Also you're probably guaranteed a final ticket if we get there with 7 credits yet maybe not one for the home semi!

I went in 2001 but can't remember, is there any upper and lower or...?? I def remember the Perspex walls there and having to move towards them at HT as they charged us! ::)

Hopefully the ground is now better than that hole-in-the-ground shithole then!!

There'll be a lot of people with ST's put off by the travel to Kiev.  I've got three family members myself with season tickets who have been all the home games but wont be going the final, so won't bother buying a Roma ticket, just because they can.

Most of our Season Ticket holders have been there, seen it and done it (some of them 7 times), but are now in their 60's / 70's.

Out of interest, did anyone else try to buy in today's general sale on the roma site? Myself and a mate got through, put all the details in, then got an error message and were put on the end of the queue again.

Not going in the home end at roma away might turn out to be an alright decision but thought it was worth a try.

Kiev will put a lot off I think as it's so difficult/expensive to get to

Yeah, real Tory behaviour thinking it's a good thing if more of our fans can attend our first European Cup away semi for 10 years.

Whatever price is charged, their will be the same amount of reds in the away end no? People may buy for credit but will happily write someone else's details down when they purchase

How many do people think roughly will go to all STHs, 1000-1500 maybe? Im a STH myself, went Porto but it was on a mates card. Travel all booked for Rome so really hoping we get sorted through the club particualrly with all this names on ticket business.

Dead right I saw that post from earlier telling you to fuck off and was not happy with it.If Roma want to milk  us and it enables an extra 1300 reds to go the extra allocation outweighs the cost.Of course those crying over the price qualify anyway,If they were a season ticket holder with no euro away credits they would be delighted to pay the price and go and guarantee a final ticket into the bargain if we go through.

Recipe for disaster the names on the tickets stuff... 3 of us aren't season ticket holders but we are using 3 different season tickets to get tickets on Monday (I think it is).

Praying the club get it right and it's a smooth process at the ground.

United got a refund because we paid less for the group game in Seville. Chelsea were charged less for Roma so I'm assuming the clubs gonna do the same as United did. And if they don't then we should be asking why not.

There is a big difference with United. Liverpool supporters will pay what Roma fans pay in the same area of the ground.
