The main problem here is Utds kind opening fixtures. Don't want them getting a head of steam up.

Like they did last year? And the year before?

Bilic just barely managed to hang on to his job last season. I really can't see him staying past October at a stretch.

cue us playing them the week after he gets sacked...can just see it.

Paddy Power

Pogba and Lukaku both score in a 4-0 Man Utd win.

That noise you hear is the smug, frantic typing of all the Man Utd fans in the world. May god have mercy on us all.

Like last season? They were flying after about 6 games, then went to shit once they had to play some decent sides, if I remember rightly.

They are a really good side, I think people are deluding themselves if they think that squad won't challenge for the league this season. Liverpool fans talking about how great they are to watch and all that is grim though.

A thousand times this.

Are people stupid or something? I know this is tribal, I get that. But this is logic. They're not sitting on 21 league titles for no reason lads, once Mourinho wins the title in his first season he very rarely doesn't win it in his second either.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

So I'm guessing that "the fear factor is back" like it was for three weeks at the beginning of last season when they became champions of August, and then everyone remembered they had actually figured Mourinho out the previous season and it all went to pot, again.

Forgive me if I don't shit myself just yet.

That was a bloody grim weekend.

City, Spurs, United and Arsenal were always going to win so a Chelsea defeat has kind of balanced our somewhat unexpected draw out.
United used to win titles on easy street, time for us to take over that real estate

Shit start but could have been a lot worse

Slightly concerning that we don't seem to have learned from previous mistakes when it comes to preparing for a season but what can you do? We shoot ourselves in the foot season in season out and then act suprised when it goes wrong, who's feet the blame lays at remains to be seen. We don't seem to have a good strategy for taking advantage of good opportunities ahead of rival like the teams we dislike seeing succeed and until that changes we will struggle to achieve anything of note

Damnit though, I really didn't want that shower of c*nts building up any fast momentum this year, and giving the next few showers an excuse to roll over for them.  I wouldn't be surprised if they're still on maximum points before we get our hands on them.

Is it not 21?!  :-[

1907–08, 1910–11, 1951–52, 1955–56, 1956–57, 1964–65, 1966–67, 1992–93, 1993–94, 1995–96, 1996–97, 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010–11, 2012–13, 2016-2017

That's 21 by my admittedly average counting skills.
