1. If this is how Salah is when out of form (or at least not in top form), then brilliant. He'll know more than anyone how sharp he became in front of goal last year, and if he's any kind of goal scorer he'll be frustrated with his goal scoring form thus far. He and Klopp will also understand the process it takes to get back to that as everyone has periods below their best. Have patience he'll get there!

2. speaking of contributions it was noticeable Salah was working back with more discipline, frequently goal side of Neymar (in particular) on the top of our defensive third, seemingly sending him inside towards the energizer-bunny wall of our central midfielders - a little bit more of a Mane-like role, whereas he is usually our 'cheat' player (as Klopp has eluded to before), generally staying higher to the right. I haven't seen the stats to back it up but I think he got through a lot more work than usual because of this and some of his loose passes in Midfield were probably due to tiredness (hence the sub).
