i think your queue's broke.

I opened another browser to check my purchase history about 20 mins ago and am almost in

It will be all fine and well if they didn't increase their allocation hugely later on in the competition meaning actual fans who've been to the previous games miss out. Fans should always come first no matter who's competition it is, because without fans they dont have a competition in the first place

The UEFA allocation from match 1 should be the same throughout
I agree mate but a group match v Genk doesn’t have the same appeal as a SF to these people,These sponsors pay big money for the privileges, it’s just part of the game, none of us like it but this was the top competition in world football is

But for match 2, if they go off all games from previous seasons then that's the same as all for match 1 as those who went to all games previous season would have gone to match 1 this season

Unless it wasnt very glamorous tie so couldnt be arsed but still expected to stay on the ladder

Thats why I said across 1 or 2 seasons. But regardless we can go around in circles discussing the merits of the loyalty system
Its always going to leave someone unhappy

It is a hard one because if you guaranteed those who went to every game would always go to every game then you'd think it was all good

But the problem comes with missing one game for whatever reason meaning you fall off the ladder completely

The only way round that would be like a points based system

Cannot understand how they have such a shit system. People should not be able to open tabs ahead of those that have been in the queue since 8.15am and get in first.

There will be drop outs from sponsors. Always is in the last 16 and Quarters.

Expect bigger drop outs and returns if we smash them in the first leg.

So, at 59yrs of age and after having been to all 3 home and away European games this Season and for donkeys years, I have been unable to secure a ticket for this match after being put in the queue at over an hour and Jack shit once I got in plus site crashing.
The club are continuously robbing tkts off of the regular match goers for corporates and others. And no matter what some say, for those that attend from foreign shores or other once in a blue moon but spend £100’s in the Club shop.
Many old timers have kicked matches in to touch this last few Seasons and I’m pretty much going to do the same.
There should have been a couple of hundred at most missing out on this match for extra UEFA allocation if they had all previous games but many more than that have gone missing to Corporate or other.
I was lucky enough to see us win pretty much everything back in the day and 3 Continental trophies in the last year plus hopefully and finally the Premier League this Season.
So I guess that my money will now be going to sky rather than LFC!

Good luck to those that got tickets today however....

I know, but no-one has moaned about closed shop if they were, as you implied

That was a different conversation

They have. Every time this has been suggested people moan about the closed shop. There's 70 pages of it in here.

But it doesn't suit you, being relatively new to Anfield, so you're not arsed.

Haha, if that's aimed at me, I've been going to Anfield since 2000, so sling it.

Totally agree, just turned 56 today . Managed to see 3 European cup wins ,and now i have had book a day off work just to f5,Still the club prefer to replace us kopites with a japanese tourist in block 104 filming the entire game and spending loads in the club shop

If a Japanese tourist is in block 104 for a Champions League game, he hasn't bought his ticket off the club, has he? It's not hard to figure out how they're there and it isn't because of the club.

it's not the club who prefer to replace a Kopite with a Japanese tourist, but one of your fellow Kopites who couldn't be arsed going the match / needed money and decided to tout his ticket  :wanker

Probably pointless f5'ing now, didn't see anything after the website crash when we had to queue again around 10am. Seems dodgy that but I'm in a state of blaming anything and everything right now.

Yes. There may not be anything for a while now with the game still 4 weeks away but certainly within a fortnight of it a few will pop up from time to time, whether returns from UEFA or unsold hospitality. If we get a good result next week i wouldn't be surprised to see a fair few returned from UEFA.
