They both went in high, that's factually correct, both tried to play the ball at height.  Doku with his foot, Mac Allister with his chest.

Didn't Chelsea lose to Palace?

Yeah, and that was the only time they've dropped points against a team outside the top 6 at home all season.

I think half the problem with defending st the moment is players spend too much time grappling with the opposition

Not good viewing this, seeing as that we have to play Southampton as well. Of course Chelsea could still end up winning 6-1 and make me look silly now that I've said that.

But come on Chelsea, I'd hate it for Spurs to actually win this title.

Chelsea and the crowd are nervy here. Still think they'll win due to the quality up front but it's not all going to plan.

It's Chelsea. We can't really judge football fans against the bar they set.

More goals in this for Southampton, just hope there's no Chelsea sucker punch on the break.

And that's why they'll be champions. They take the lead, survive a blow in a Saints equaliser but waste no time in getting themselves back in front without crumbling and handing the initiative back to Southampton.

Spurs will be up for their games regardless, 4 points isn't a major lead anyway. That is, if they beat Palace at the weekend.

Spurs play Palace tomorrow.

If the score stays the same, that puts Chelsea 12 points ahead of us. It'll take something special to catch them.

They also have an experienced title winning squad. People forget they are only doing this season, what they should have been doing last season, instead of badly underperforming. We by comparison are a developing team. We have to learn to challenge for titles first, it doesn't happen overnight.

Southampton aren't very interesting to watch but I think Puel has had done a decent enough job. This is their worst collection of players for a long while and they're in 9th and reached a cup final. Not bad.
