Lack fluidity and look a bit disjointed. We found a bit of decent rhythm after about 30 mins but not great so far.

No need to panic.

Think that's the key at the end there. Ball into Sturridge's feet with Mane and Firmino running in behind. Dan'll get the through ball right more often than not.

Well set pieces are always a given. Clyne is horrendous at marking.

Its took us too long to get going, half time came to soon

Sturridge didn't dive, how the fuck is that a booking, knocked off balance, maybe goes down early but it's not simulation.

Referee is a c*nt.

Could be one of those days.

So reminiscent of Newcastle last season. Typical once we get a few wins in a row players go out there with an attitude like they've already won the game before the ball has even been kicked

Pitch is shite.

They're wanting it more at the moment, can see them tiring earlier on though because they aren't usually like this. Lallana going off injured was just typical. Want to see Wijnaldum have a bit more confidence and purpose on the ball.

That yellow card for Sturridge - ridiculous. Has every right to go down there.

Goal was offside by a mile.

We'll win this 2-1
How was it?

Why are we so shite at corners? It makes no sense to be as bad as us at defending them.

I said it before the game, any team in the league is capable of pulling out a performance like this, especially once the home crowd finds their voice.

I would be delighted with a draw from here, it's been one of those days, it happens.

And people always used to blame Mignolet for us conceding easily, rather than the really bad defending. Not to take anything away from Swansea though as they've been brilliant overall.

We've been really bad. Just hitting it forward without thinking and losing the ball in the process. It's games like these where we really miss having a player like Silva, De Bruyne, Cazorla etc.

I feel like we need more pace on the left because they're making last ditch tackles when we're nearly there plus I'd bring on Emre Can more balance and control.

It's one of those matches, isn't it? Those in which despite having a superior squad to the opposition, nothing really goes our way and we lose to a spawny fucking goal and end up looking leggy and imprecise.

Oh well - we've still got 45 minutes to turn this around. 45 minutes for them to tire and fuck up. Let's make the most of it, come on Red Men!

These can't keep up this pace, chances will come.

What pace?
We've been poor, huge improvement is needed for the second half, but we're capable of it. We do everything so slowly and we've not created anything. Swansea fully deserve the lead.

We need to stay calm and don't panic. We aren't always going to have it our own way and the opposition will score first and make it very difficult from time to time. We started to come back into it towards the end of the half. We all need to keep believing we can get back into this, management, players and fans.

Always difficult if the offside rule isn't going to be used when the opposition attack.

Sturridge clearly pushed over in the area and gets booked. The officials have been pathetic, which is exactly what I expected so I'm not that arsed.

Swansea deserve to be ahead - they've had a few chances and we've been pretty poor.

I fully expect, though, that Oliver will be sending one or two of ours off second half so we lose a few men against the Mancs. I'm expecting a bent penno as well. He couldn't wait to give free kicks to them most of the game and that lino? When a ball gets kicked off a man right in front of you and you still give it the wrong way - how do these people actually retain their jobs?

To a man we were fucking atrocious that first 20 mins.

Too many extra touches, slow to release and being bullied too often.

Can't see what Karius offers above Mignolet atm, can't kick and looks suspect.

We started slow and got punished for it. Our passing is the main problem as it's not as precise as last couple of games which makes it easier for them to close down.

Last 15 minutes were ok and second half we're going to dick em.

They are not out playing is they aren't being made to work hard enough. Lucky not to be 2-0 down defensively a shambles. Set pieces need to change.  Get a bollockinv from Klopp at half time and we will improve second half.

I'd settle for a shot on target at this stage. We're better than this. Although the most passes between two players was Henderson to Lovren, followed by...eh Lovren to Henderson.

First really bad half from our midfield. Need to calm down and use the angles better. They are pressing high, which means we have space in between their lines. Calm the fuck down and play like we usually do. Confident. Not scared.

Not a good half. Swansea won the ball back, like we usually do, early on. We have struggled to get the ball upfield. Has looked better when Coutinho has managed to drop and get hold of the ball to start our attacks. Also, Henderson booked and then Sturridge booked. Similar situations, I thought.

No knicker-wetting from me, just a mild sense of disappointment.

We look like we're trying too hard.

By that, I  mean that when we click, it looks effortless.

Today, we are trying to force things to happen, rather than just allowing them to happen.

A lot of that is down to Swansea's frantic chasing down, but too many players are trying too many tricks and they all seem scared to death of actuallt shooting.

Feels like Burnley all over again, but I am still hopeful that Klopp can get them sorted at half-time.

Have to give Swansea a bit of credit here. They've defended well (not just one or two last ditch tackles but they are crowded around their own box and when we dont have space to play and are put under pressure we struggle.

City needed some luck to beat them last week and it looks like we will need the same to get anything out of this.

Not confident based on what i've seen so far. When we dont have spaces to exploit we look sluggish.

Not sure we can play worse in the second half!  :D

Hopefully they can't keep the press up much longer - they've been out-pressing us!

Early days, but Karius really needs to command his box.

Also have to laugh how even with Matip and Lovren, still can't defend corners!

A test of our "title" contender status. Need to grind this out. Up the reds the second half!
