We're going to have the ball a lot this half - no reason we can't win this

I just think Swansea have been outworking us. They've but in a back line of 5 across, and had the two sitting midfielders augment by coming in behind the attacking Liverpool players.

Basically they're:

A) Outnumbering us both sides of the pitch (always outnumbered 3 to 2 either side of the box)
B) Cutting out the runners in from behind effectively
C) Cutting off the retreat path once we run into the wall (the line of 5)

Guidolin has managed to out Italian Conte, who essentially tried to do the same, except his players were a lot less disciplined to do the same.

And poor Karius is nervous. He's hesitating coming out of the box, it's too bad he had the hand injury. If he continued his form from preseason, it may have been a lot better for him at the moment. Now he's just trying to get his bearings while playing teams who are starting to get into their midseason form. I expect this to continue for a while yet.

He doesn't like a tackle does he? First port of call is always to try and give the ball to someone else, even if he is in a good position - pass responsibility to someone else. Needed a player who could roll up his sleeves today.

Thought his balls had dropped after that Chelsea performance, but this first half was shocking.

Chelsea games showed he can do it.  But it seems few and far between. Our Brazilians have also been poor though.
As I've said before, the Full English is just the base upon which the Scots/Welsh/NI have improved upon. Sorry but the Full English is the worst of the British breakfasts.

Crisper passing, high intensity, improved concentration and we'll be 2-1 up by 65 minutes.

Half press again. We tend to struggle aginst that.

Just be patient lads. Chances, and dodgey penalty decisions will come.

Eh.........how does he do all of that from the bench?
Just a joke, la.

I thought it was all Simon's fault we were shaky at the back. Certainly was if you'd read these forums.

We look slow in the head, and their pressure is unnerving us. Need to pick ourselves up and grow a set of balls and take the game to them.

We have been poor but the lad is only saying it as it is. The ref has also been poor.
On a positive note, Oliver often seems to favour opposite sides in the first/second half rather than just be a 'homer'.

You all laughed a newcy supporters about their problem with Wijnajdum away from home. I never did because it's the truth - when the going gets tough he goes home. What a waste.

Out of all of the players who are playing bad you pick Wijnaldum?

Think Klopp will have used the half time talk to great effect, second half should look much better.

I love Klopp but losing against a manager as bad as Guidolin twice in a row is terrible stuff.

This isn't a dig at Klopp so don't take it as such, but how many matches have we been down at HT and then gone on to win? I can't recall many.

Swansea vs Liverpool?
