I just think Swansea have been outworking us. They've but in a back line of 5 across, and had the two sitting midfielders augment by coming in behind the attacking Liverpool players.
Basically they're:
A) Outnumbering us both sides of the pitch (always outnumbered 3 to 2 either side of the box)
B) Cutting out the runners in from behind effectively
C) Cutting off the retreat path once we run into the wall (the line of 5)
Guidolin has managed to out Italian Conte, who essentially tried to do the same, except his players were a lot less disciplined to do the same.
And poor Karius is nervous. He's hesitating coming out of the box, it's too bad he had the hand injury. If he continued his form from preseason, it may have been a lot better for him at the moment. Now he's just trying to get his bearings while playing teams who are starting to get into their midseason form. I expect this to continue for a while yet.
