It's a joke if that's actually sold out! I managed to get on before quarter past so unless they just said the game is sold out and might do the sale at a later date fingers crossed
Why is it a joke mate? I'm guessing this is one of your first attempts at buying tickets this way?
The sale begins at 8.15am. You are in no way guaranteed to either a. buy a ticket, or b. get onto the website at this time.
There won't have been that many tickets available at 8.15am. Say 500 for example.
There will damn sure have been more than 500 people, on multiple devices and browsers trying to buy these tickets.
I know people on here who use 6/7 devices, and use different browsers on each device. Essentially, you're competing with say, 4000 people, with on average of 3 devices/browsers. So that 4000 people becomes 12-16000. All for 500 tickets.
The site can only let a certain amount of people on at any one time, I think I seen somewhere ages ago it's about 750 people.
Especially when we are looking like challenging for the title, the johnny come latelys who haven't been in years all of a sudden absolutely need a ticket as they're the best fans ever and must be at Anfield to cheer on their heroes.
If you weren't succesful, you just need to keep checking randomly. It says sold out at the minute, but the fact that the game is still on the sales page normally means there will be more tickets at some point. The problem here is it really is just sporadiic when they go up. No notice, and sometimes only 1 or 2.
