Have had a message from Samee's best mate that the family appreciated the 22nd minute tribute and the love from RAWKites. There should be some more news in the next day or two about how anyone in the Leicester area can pay tribute next weel. I'll post it when I get it.

This is shocking, can't say I knew him personally but his avatar and his name are so familiar and I was used to seeing him comment all the time .

Condolences to his family and friends it's heartbreaking to lose someone so young, I am gutted that I no longer live near Leicester as I would have been there for the janazah to pay my respects.

Tuesday evening next week in Nottingham Trent Uni - opportunity to join in and pay tribute at a memorial service.

Am in touch with one of Samee's former house mates from his last year there and he will send me more details over the weekend.

I will, of course, post information here.

In the meantime, if there are any specific tributes to pay to Samee from any of you who knew him (personally or virtually) please post them here and we can collate.

The internet is a strange and sometimes beautiful place and its funny how one life can touch another, even though you have never met and only know each other as an avatar.

Probably the only thing we have in common is a love for this club but you were the same age as my lad (also a Nottingham Trent student) and the thought of what I hope he has to look forward to, and what you have missed out on is simply heartbreaking. I can't wait to see my lad at Easter and my thoughts will be with your family and friends.

Hi, Alistair Hill here Samee Mozumder's friend. Below is the Facebook message that is circulating around Nottingham Trent and has the information for the memorial in. If you need anything else let me know and again if anyone wishes to contribute to the service please let me know.

Subject- Samee Mozumder's memorial.

For those of you who are not aware, NTU student and social butterfly Samee Mozumder has recently passed away. On Tuesday the 15th of March there will be a memorial service held to remember Samee's life. This will be held in Chaucer lecture theatre 1 and will start at 6pm. All staff and students are invited, there is no dress code and if anyone would like to contribute to the service please let me know.

It means an awful lot to Samee's family to see how many lives their son touched so please make the effort to attend.

Any questions, let me know.
