Seriously needs to switch on for crosses. Watched that lad wander in behind Matip to miss that sitter. Has happened too many times. Sort that side of his game out and all will be well.

One of the biggest no-brainer signings we have made this decade and he continues to live up to that

Nobody is flawless but more often than not he is a 7/8-10 player and he knows how to defend

He's Glen Johnson in his prime ,  great defender not so much going forward. Think he's got a much higher ceiling than Johnson though.

Really I prefer it that way much rather he be a great defender which he is than great offensively. Anyway he is still very good going forward and for me the first name on the team sheet

that's good news. Nice to keep Clyne away from the England circus, he'd just be sat on the bench anyway.  Give him some rest and time to get over whatever issues he has.

Kloppo seems to be pulling playes out of contention for international duty for what are hopefully just small niggly injuries in Clyne and Lovren's case. And that's a good thing.

Shame that Firmino and Coutinho will be going to South America. They won't be back till the Thursday. Having the Monday game might actually be a huge help to us this time.

yeah, that's the big shame innit. I'm glad Firmino is getting the recognition now, but the selfish Liverpool side of me wishes they continue to ignore him.

I hate Monday games, but as you say, this time it might help.

Mr Consistency. It's like someone got Steve Finnan and gave him 400m runners legs. Gets up and down all day long, the only issue with those high crosses tends to be because he's up field an no one has moved over to cover if we lose possession.

For what it's worth I think he's a much better fullback than Johnson as well (who I was never a particularly big fan of).

Hopefully the injury isn't too serious. Key player in the team, and we need him back against United.

Been mentioned above a few times but this time the Monday game really might be beneficial to us.

The only thing that worries me is his decision making when he cuts inside in our defensive third.

He's given the ball away a few times already doing it this season. Easy problem to iron out though.

Other than that, best right back in the league!!!

How the hell did we get him?!... Not praised enough for me. We are short on cover in his position, but with his consistency that issue doesn't seem to surface up. One game a week will be a great help this season.

No one talks about him, which is probably the best for fullbacks. Does his job, and gets on with it. Crazy to think we used to rightly moan about Johnson stinking up the place week on,  week out.

I think he has added a more attacking dimension to his game during Klopp's time here. The way he dribbled past the West Brom defender and delivered a quality cross was a fine example of that. Just a shame Can wasn't able to reach the cross at the end.

The way we play with no traditional wing players makes it essential to have attacking fullbacks with attacking quality and a lot of energy.

Pretty much like Milner, 7/10 every game and rarely a worry. Have we actually got a solid, settled back 4 now? Just need to fucking switch on at set pieces..
Loving Everton's business this summer. Here's an early call - they finish above Liverpool this season.

He can still improve his decision making a lot when attacking. Sometimes he plays blind crosses when it's better to find a teammate outside the area and so on. But that should improve given that he now finds himself in attacking positions probably more often than ever in his career.

It's always so pleasing to know you have a fullback so good that the opposition can't be arsed attacking down his side anymore.

What a singing he's been for us, best RB so far this season no question about it. He's not getting the recognition he deserves like certain Spurs full backs.

Probably because Spurs defence is so tight and concede so few goals. Also when they attack sometimes it's really noticeable they contribute like when Walker goes on a mad 90 yard sprint and makes an assist so it's probably deserved imo. But hey Clyney being linked to Man City and Barca is a sign of his good work being recognised! As everyone says he is very consistent, solid. Decent in attack but I believe he can still improve in the future and his only weakness is air balls which I'm not sure will improve too much but can't complain overall really.

He's so good, a rock defensively and contributes going forward, won a corner for Matips goal, laid on a sitter for Mane and put an incredible ball in which no one tapped home. He's great.

Don't care if he is 1 or 2 but i am so glad he is ours. He is a boss player.

Yes he could do with adding 1 or 2 more goals to his game but love Clyne and I wouldn't swap him for any RB.

And easily the best RB in the league.
