I'm not feeling the love in here tonight guys.

Dunno.  The exchange below sounds loving enough to me.  :wave

Go and wank into your spreadsheet and tell yourself it's all going to be ok lad

Now now I'm not going to waste a spreadsheet when it could so obviously be printed out, coloured in red and used as a big red card for Rodgers

(Kidding, fellas).

agreed. people look at that squad before the season started and they were happy with it. It's not perfect but with Sturridge in there, it can compete for top 4

Aye, a bad manager can make even the best players look like a bunch of cart horses.

Who was happy with it and for what purpose?
I wasn't and I posted why I wasn't.

Yes, we can compete for top four. With results like today's, we're making it difficult for ourselves, but we can do it.

Our squad isn't shite. Sorry, not having that.

Agreed, we lack in a couple of positions but overall this squad isn't at all bad.

But they did so it's a bit pointless saying that

It's a fair argument, for last season, however there comes a point when you have to say that we're standing still rather than progressing and that's the problem at the moment. Brendan isn't advancing us, we are treading water at best.

I may share that opinion; but not 6 games in. In January we can talk. As of now, having fans pressure the the team and the manager does no good at all.

Drawing to Norwich at home just reflect on that, then, take on board the last 16 matches, there's a clue there..... Disappointing, at best, at worst rinse repeat, sound bite, rinse repeat sound bite, dog toffee that's what that performance was.

Mignolet should have been replaced in the summer. Can't be trusted. You can't have a keeper who is a good shot stopper and pretty much shite at everything else. Fucking get rid.

We needed a keeper as backup to Mignolet who was an improvement on Jones they said in the summer.

Like fuck we did!

Rodgers the Fraud!

I don't get this fraud stuff?
Did he lie to FSG and say he'd won the world cup, champions league and Premier league??
He is not a fraud he was never good enough to be our manager and isn't now.
They gave him the job, how is he a fraud?
Do you expect him to talk himself down, talk about how he's won literally fuck all?
Every manager bigs themself up - he's no different.

I don't think him or Martinez were ever good enough and should never have been even considered for the job.
Huge mistake....but a fraud?  Nope...Just hugely inexperienced manager who is not cut out for the job and never was.

I'm not going to put words in his mouth, but it would have taken a little more than a 1-0 win at home to newly-promoted Norwich to convince me that we're making progress.

All we'll hear after games like this from the club or fans who don't think we should change the manager is 'its an improved performance, Norwich are a hard working, decent side...' etc ad infinitum.

If a 1-1 draw at home against Norwich is an improvement, its shows how fucking woeful we are. £300m Brendan has spent since he's been here is is it? And we continue to disappoint. Criminal we've gone from coming within a game of winning the title, champions league football, to saying 1-1 at home to Norwich isn't bad. After £200m spend on transfers.

After six league games under Brendan Rodgers:

12/13 - 14th
13/14 - 2nd
14/15 - 14th
15/16 - 13th

Apart from 13/14 season which was a clear anomaly, other than that Rodgers hasn't improved a bit,  no matter how much you spend  results are the same
and how could anyone hope that he can turn this around.
To be fair to Brendan, he's doing better than last year.

He hasn't risen to the status of Liverpool FC, he's taking us down to his level.

Could not agree more with this. Rodgers is fast becoming an expert in comfortable mid-table mediocrity while pub teams like Man Utd skip on up the table because they have a manager who knows what he's fucking doing, even with a shitty squad.

The worst thing about today is that Norwich, fucking Norwich, looked like a proper team out there. They won't threaten the top ten but at least they operated like a unit. Ours was like eleven strangers who had met 20 minutes before kick off. Hmmm, where have we heard this before...

Did you know that corners are actually a regular occurrence in football matches, and that it is important that a manager prepare his team for defending them?

I honestly believe that had Hodgson been given the amount of time that Brendan has had, we'd be in a better position. However mental that sounds.
