Heading to the Dortmund vs Bayern game this weekend, any recommendations on bars / things to do when I am there?

Also attending Bochum vs Arminia Bielefeld on the Sunday.

Wolfsburg giving Hannover a hell of a kicking. This one won't wash off easily.

We were talking to some Augsburg fans before the match in the square on Thursday and they were saying he's very highly regarded over there.

Munich fans said the same on Weenesday night in the Hofbrauhaus.

Always good to hear.

Stopped watching properly at 2-0, did it occur after then? Didn't see anything up until that point.

Ah, watched it on mute so I obviously didn't hear anything about it. Think Hannover-Wolfsburg is a bit of a derby so perhaps tensions were higher than normal. No place for that kind of behaviour though.

Mainz have done Dortmund a big favor today. The Dortmund-Bayern game on Saturday is now looming large. Must-win for Dortmund, really. If they win, they'll close the gap to just 2 points.

Would have hoped we could have got Sane but looks like he will be off to City if the media are to be believed. Perfect fit for us, wide pacey forward, Klopp said he was looking for wingers. Any alternatives in the Bundesliga?

Kostic is a good shout. Bellarabi can be a bit brainless. Brandt is talented but still quite raw.

Assuming we're looking at young(ish) players, there's also Weiser, the Bayern reject who's shining at Hertha, although he's been used more as an attacking FB this season; Herrmann at Gladbach, despite his f*cking awful hair; and Samperio, a Sevlla reject who's shining at Mainz. Really looking forward to the game later.

Bellarabi. He'd fit the bill. Tall, good dribbler. Scores a goal every five games or so.

Herrmann is a bit of a risk at this point, was out for a while with a serious knee injury so it might have compromised him a bit? I'd want us to pass on him unless really cheap. The others you listed are good options for sure. Malli also of Mainz looks a huge prospect but not so much of a winger is he?

Good to know theres plenty of talent out there, just hope we sign the right type of player this time, someone that fits the system. We need pace and goals in the wide areas. Thanks for the replies, lads.

MY beloved Hannover are going down. They'd struggle to win anything in the 2. Bundesliga at this point, such a horrendous squad.

Your forwards are really bad  :-\ Hard to see how you can score enough goals to win points right now.

Its not just the forwards, the midfield would struggle in the third devision.

True enough. I watched them against Wolfsburg in the derby midweek. Wolfsburg scored 4 and could've had more. Can't see any way out for Hannover unfortunately.

Stuttgart have become great to watch, Hoffenheim are truly terrible at the back though. 8 shots on target in the first half for Stuttgart.

Also, Leverkusen are taking some real kickings of late. Lost 3-1 to Mainz last sunday, 4-1 to Werder Bremen in midweek and are now 3-1 down at Augsburg. Schmidt being banned from the touchline has killed them dead.

Augsburg were really good against Mönchengladbach the other week and were unfortunate to come away with a draw.

Augsburg are very good against teams they're not necessarily expected to beat. They're a well drilled and organised team, it's when the onus is on them to attack that they struggle.

Like most teams these days...so many are very good at being compact to then counter.

I think Bayern 3-1

Yep, possession is becoming less fashionable these days.

On a sidenote Kostic has been absolutely fantastic today, would seriously consider this lad.

Stuttgart leading 5-1. Hoffenheim's defending is hilarious, it's so simple for Stuttgart.
