Not flying with TUI so should be OK ;D

Staying in Fanabe this time - never been there before, but hotel looks lovely and only about a 5 min walk to the front and the beach, got 2 appts too, so the lads can have their own place and leave us in peace.

Spent a wonderful few days touring Dublin with the wife, immersed in Irish culture (mostly consisting of superb pints of Guinness and music!)

As we approached the airport in the taxi, Dreams by The Cranberries started playing on the radio. A wonderfully Irish end to a fantastic journey.

Depending on how the fixtures go, there's a decent chance of that 1000th goal being the winner against City from a 90th minute Joe Gomez bicycle kick.

Flipped my mattress around a couple of say ago, first time in months I've slept for 6 hours+ without waking and woken up without back pain

Think I might just have to take the hit and buy the best mattress that I can afford. What are you supposed to do with the old one?

many mattress companies will take the old one away and dispose of it properly - no added charge.  (at least here, dunno about the UK).

Where I live the local Council (Gateshead) will come collect it and take it to the tip.  They charge £8 for each item. I got rid of a bed and they charged me £24 which was £8 each to dispose of base, mattress and headboard.

Years ago I lived in an area rough as fuck I coulda just put it all in the garden and set fire to it and the locals wouldn't bat an eyelid.  :D

It used to be a tenner per item back when the council were collecting them, now it's forty quid for 'up to ten items'.

My Mum and sister moved into my house during lockdown and never left
They dont pay any keep, Mum pays for Sky as shes a diamond customer.

So I award myself the right to take an interest in how they spend cash.'

My sister has read an article on how tickets for the last game of the season are going for £10k +
and wanted to know how I justify that for a game of football, she really had the wind in her sails

Mansplaining to her that I got the ticket for £40 months ago was so satisfying.

I ended it with "If you come for the King, you better not miss"

and could be the game where we win the league, or see the trophy presented.
