The NHS really is special, despite its woes due to the twat tories trying to dismantle it. Woke up this morning with the right side of my lips swollen and my cheek. Managed to get a gp phone call, who made me a face to face appointment at Garston walk in and within 15 mins had my appointment and my antibiotics prescription. Thank god it's not an abscess with a dentist bill.

i've told you not to have those lip fillers - they can go wrong y'know

When winter was moving in I made a little wooden house for Bob, the frog in our garden. I covered it with grass cuttings and put lots of leaves inside. I had a look the other week when it was milder and he'd gone walkabout. Now the weather has gone cold again I had a peep inside yesterday and there he is, cuddled up and fast asleep inside. ☺️🐸

I'm glad it's helped him through the winter.

Exactly what I was gonna ask. But perhaps SoS is newt to herpalotogical musings.

SoS, has the little house got smooth walls or ribbed walls? I only wonder because I once asked a frog if he preferred smooth walls or not and replied "Rib it"

Shift start time didn't appear on the app last night, so thought no work. Checked the app when I got up at half 6, still not got a start time but a notification at 5:30am with the pin no to get the wagon keys. Turned in an hour and a half late, so got a nice lie in and still got a shift in. Happy days

I'm coaching my sons school soccer team (ages 10-13).

I did it last year and came in 2 weeks before the first game as no one else wanted to do it. This year decided to do it differently and we started conditioning about 10 weeks ago. Conditioning is fitness training but you are not supposed to coach early as all the schools are supposed to start coaching at the same time. We had our first game on Monday and were 2-1 up with a few minutes to go and gave up a stupid goal at the end.

2-2 draw but we got battered in this game 8-0 last year. Overall, something to be happy about.

Meant that in a good way, Debs.

Boogying, conservatory, music of an unspecific sort, and the glorious mental image of crows doing banzai assaults on buzzards.

Might not be possible to better the wide range of joyous imagery there, i.e. thread closer...
