Lad in the kitchen in me local has a new PS5 and got the barman to ask me (half jokingly) for a code for my game I am the project lead for and bore them about

I say ok!

Asked work
Got one
Just took it over to general pleased disbelief. Free game. I am not a massive bullshitter in life and it was cool to get it done

Instant legend status achieved haha

(No I'm not saying the game in a public forum nor am I offering codes haha)

Nice thing to do

Starting a new job at Bolt. The best one I've ever landed. Which means I get to stay in Estonia. Happy day! 💚 And the beautiful sunrise this morning too. Wow.

Awesome have a lovely first day in your new job. The sunrises have been fantastic here as well it’s why I can’t wait until I am cycling into work again, probably mid March.

Congratulations! 🥳

Wishing you all the very best in the new job.

I organised that beautiful sunrise for you in celebration. No need to thank me.  ;)

The Ukrainian girl who was staying with my mum is going home to Ukraine tomorrow. Obviously it's not completely safe but she feels it is safe enough to go back to stay with her mum who had refused to leave the country last year.

In a nice coincidence, my mum drove her down to Edinburgh today before she flies tomorrow, and by pure chance their hotel is right next door to the Ukrainian consulate, where Edinburgh City Council to Volodymyr Zelenskyy Street, which went down well!

Over in Liverpool for the game with 2 of the kids.
Went up to Anfield this morning to do the stadium tour and my lad left his bag on the bus. Passport and wallet with over £100 in it.
Contacted Arriva and some sound mother fucker has handed it in, everything intact.
Whoever you are, I owe you multiple beers  :hally

The lad is paying for the taxi to go pick it up though  :D

great to see things like that, especially these days when everyone's feeling the pinch.

wow some great stories above - trouble is, they make my own bit of happiness seem quite dull in comparison

i found the sunglasses i'd been looking for for ages - somehow they ended up in one of my wellies, which i had put away in the outdoor cupboard

the cupboard isn't actually 'outdoor' - it's basically a cupboard that we put our outdoor stuff in

could my post get any duller?

don't answer that  :wave

Won £40 on our work football predications the weekend before last (mainly down to being one for the few to say the mighty reds would beat Newcastle. And the bloke who runs it is a Newcastle fan so that was extra sweet.

£40 in the holiday spend kitty for Easter. Should get me a few extra San Miguel.

Brilliant.

My 3 year old had her first tea on a match day in the Cabbage earlier. Her first game at Anfield is the Celtic legends game which I am ridiculously excited for.
