Liking the look of LiverLuke and Saint's picks thus far

Great-great-great pick in Kevin Johnson. Was between him and Rondo for me. In the end neither is a very good outside shooter and I took Rondo for his defense and my Celtics fandom. But Johnson is a beast of a player nonetheless.

I think KJ would have suited you more.

Thing is you already have two fantastic defenders in Scottie and Rodman. Scottie was a good scorer but he wasn't an elite scorer and Rodman won't really offer a lot in offense except the offensive rebounds. You could have picked KJ and have him attack the basket or attract players towards him with his attacking run and then dish out to Ritchmond to shoot from downtown. That is why I was a bit surprised when you took Rondo even though I know you are a Celtics fan.

My random two cents from the cheap seats is I think some current players are being undervalued/overlooked, and there are a few who haven't been drafted that are a lot better than some of the folks drafted in the past round or two.

Might not be a terrible strategy as there always seems to be a romanticization of the past in these things, while the flaws of current players are overemphasized.
