I should add that if I was drafting a team and had Barkley and Nowitzki in my first two picks, I'd probably make them my power forward and center, then pick a defensive minded center in the last round as my 6th man. In the hypothetical games against teams with powerful low post offensive players the 6th man center could get more run, but in most matchups you play small and try and kill the other team with shooting and speed. There aren't that many players from the past few decades whom Dirk couldn't at least put up a fight against.

Yea that seems a sound strategy. Think there'll be a few teams against whom you can play Dirk at 5 without a big worry.

Thanks for the PM, sorry.

PG:
SG: D-Wade
SF:
PF:
C: David Robinson

IMO, there's only two SG's who can match and/or better Wade's dunking, shooting, playmaking, perimeter defence, explosive pace, ball handling, rebounding and MVP clutch-ability (Jordan and Kobe already drafted).

I know it's the rules, I'm just not so comfortable with skipping members because they didn't pick within the 2 hour mandate.
It's not like we're in a rush or anything, and we have members on different time zones that might not neccessarily have the time to check the thread every three hours or so.

Maybe (for the next draft) we should offer a fixed schedule so that everyone would know the exact time they would be expected to make their pick and could plan accordingly.

Sorry, I didn't notice that some people hadn't picked and the draft skipped past them. I received the PM from the guy picking ahead of me and didn't check. I'll make sure to check before picking in the next round.

Went for Joe Dumars after thinking really long and hard. Excellent defender and versatile on offence even though he may not have the outright scoring ability of some of the other guards picked so far.

McHale? Nah. One of the best. Better than Garnett imo.

Would have been if he wasn't so hampered by injuries. But if we consider the overall career, then definitely KG is better.

McHale has a brilliant post up game but if we consider the defensive side and all, KG was the total package.

Rose is a fantastic player but I am not sure how well he would complete with someone like MJ. Both like to control the ball.
