one of the worst quarters we played all season and we ended up being up by 1.
Curry on fire so far. I still can't believe he fell in the draft to us  ;D

Well it did take the Thabeet pick and Kahn doing his T-Wolves fuck-up. But it's not like it was obvious Steph would ever be this good. I remember Steph had Davidson in the NIT tournament where they got knocked out by my boy Patty Cakes who put 23 and 10 on him. He could always shoot like, but it's not like with shooting under 40% in his final college year (all be it taking almost every shot on his team) had everything pointing to him being the greatest shooter of all time like he probably is.

Guys like Harden, Evans, and Rubio over Curry I can  understand. And still, remember when his ankles were made of glass?

He has really come far since his college days. I remember questions about his ability to play point guard and his size. I also think the Warriors deserve some credit, because I don't think he would have evolved into what he is now if he went to some other teams in the lottery.

Jonny Flynn  :lmao

Hey I can't knock Flynn, he's a Melbourne Tiger.  :D

You're right though, credit to GSW. They've had an up tempo culture for a long time now and that has really allowed Curry to develop his offense to where it is.

Fucking hell, the Bulls are awful. Cleveland have done the square root of fuck all and are still up by 13.

Bulls crowd know it's over too.

He had quite a lot of buzzer beaters and shooting long range three's in college.
What actually surprised me was his playmaking ability.
At the time I called our fans idiot for booing the owners when they traded Monta Ellis. I think that move helped us a lot especially in terms of getting minutes and development of Steph and Klay.

Happy for the Bulls.

Didn't see the game but clearly the Clippers committed suicide. They deserve to go out now just for that kind of loss.

Should've been a foul but what happened afterwards was just pure beauty. The best thing bout was that he knew it was all net when the ball was about 10ft out. 8-11 from downtown.

the truth came too late

I only saw it once but it seemed like he released that shot in time. At the very least it seemed a line-ball decision - do they not favour the shooter in those circumstances? And although I wasn't watching live, I can imagine it kind of ruined the theatre of the occasion, having a video review end the series. It illustrates the major drawback of technology in sport, and I wonder if FIFA and co. were watching.

The second angle they showed seemed to suggest he still had it in his hand but the first angle looked like he just let it go. There didn't seem to be much argument in the end though from the Wizards bench and players which tells it's own story. Unless they are 100 percent though they can't reverse it, so maybe they had other angles of it that confirmed that he didn't release it in time. It was a hell of a shot though regardless.

Not having John Wall for those few games killed the Wizards. If he was fit they would have taken the series, IMO.

It's going to be the Cavs.

None of the guys this year blow me away, so I don't care too much who gets the first. For schadenfreude, I rather see the Lakers and Knicks not get it.

This is essentially the playoffs for us Sixers fans. ;D Ideally I want the Lakers get #6 and the Heat #11, which would mean the picks go to the 76ers.

Not huge on Okafor but I like the look of Mudiay, Towns, Hezonja & Porzingis. Say you get #1, who do you think the Sixers draft?

Would love to see the Raps trade up and grab Hezonja or something.
