Gotta say I haven't enjoyed the GSW-Griz series anywhere near as much as I thought I would. Griz have brought it but I can feel the GSW lacklusterness (just invented that) seeping though my monitor. Hopefully next game is a barn burner.

Some are thinking GSW are huge favourites over Memphis. I'm not so sure about that.

They're big favourites over just about anyone, they've been that good. Memphis will grind and it will be a bit of a contrast in styles but I think GSW will have too many things to throw at Memphis. Draymond can pull Z-bo away from the hoop, Bogut's passing can pull Gasol away a bit. Jeff Green has lost his shot, Conley's face is fucked and if it's Calathes and Udrih chasing Curry and/or Thompson around screens then I can see a sweep or gentleman's sweep. This GSW team is a jump-shooting team but they can be as tough and scrappy and dirty as any team with Bogut and Green. There is going to be some scraps in this series but I'd be really shocked if it even goes to 7 before GSW win.

As I expected, MEM are making GSW look bad. They have a lot of balance and huge interior on both ends. I knew they'd step it up in the playoffs against stronger opposition like GSW.

Not over by any means, but I didn't understand why so many people considered it a one-sided match-up.

Because GSW were historically great and Memphis are the 5th seed. Conley has defied all expectations regarding his fitness. Memphis have some balance but part of the predictions regarding their inability to go with GSW is that Memphis' offense is void of 3 shooting (2nd last regular season and currently last this postseason in attempts). GSW are shooting awfully, even on open shots, which they have been getting. Turnovers galore. In the regular season GSW didn't lose a game when they kept the other team below 100 points. Memphis have won 2 games this series without breaking 100.

My personal prediction of the series was not that Memphis wouldn't compete, I like Memphis and rate what they do. It was that if Conley doesn't play then it'll be a beatdown, which I still 100% believe. And I still don't think this is going 7 and if Memphis win I would still be truly shocked, and that would be the correct reaction.

He gets some serious protection from refs at times, but LeBron is just on a different planet to everyone. If he had Jordan's killer instinct, he'd be hands down the GOAT, in my opinion.

With the injuries they had whole year and for the squad he had, i still think he overachieved.
Pelicans will be all over him if Bulls let him go.

Yeah I'd still have JVG over Miller any day, Miller is just so so so awful. Can't stand Mark Jackson either with all the GSW shit he was up to when commentating during the season. He seems like such and obvious prick. JVG just needs to stop going on about all the things he doesn't like about the game. Say it once then move on. Jon Barry is also awful but in a laughably stupid kind of way.

Hubie is really good and I like Chris Webber too.

It's hard to believe Brent and Jon are brothers. Brent Barry is actually quite good as a commentator and funny too.
I think Van Gundy tops all because he is brave and also has a sense of humor. Noone else would talk about the silly NBA rules, flopping etc as Van Gundy does. Hubie Brown is ok but he only says the obvious, doesn't add much.

Yeah you're right Hubie isn't giving you as much insight as JVG but he's still better than just about anyone in terms of knowing his stats and knowing the league and applying those to games to inform viewers.

The more i think about Mark Jackson the more I dislike his commentary. Entertaining at times but gives you very little insight.

I'm sure the decision wasn't taken lightly though. If Wall had been fit this series wouldn't be this close, I'm pretty sure of that. If he's not too troubled by his injury then he could be the difference tonight.

There were rumors that Wall clashed with Wizards medical team last week because at first they didn't take his injury seriously and had no idea his hand had that many fractures.

I have seen his swollen hand, i think they are better off without playing him because he won't be anywehere close to his regular play.

Yeah true. Well I hope he drives and dishes alot because I've got a few shekels on Washington to win with Beal 25+ points.  :D

I had some money on the Wizards just to win, the price has came down now that Wall is playing. I was hoping that would happen. I think it'll be another close one, if Wall gets 25 minutes or so and Gortat doesn't have another quiet game then I think the Wizards will sneak it.
