Let's not forget the Mancs have Olympiakos 3 days after we play them - which is a massive game for them.  It's going to be an absolute cauldron, they'll be out to spoil our party that's for sure.  However, I think BR will have the lads focused and ready to go at them just as he did with Arse and Spurs.

For me, I honestly believe we have a massive chance.  No other distractions unlike Chelsea and City, and we seem massively focused under Brendan.  I've got a sneaky feeling this is going down to the wire - it's going to be a lot of sleepness nights running up to May...

While Sterlings goal was a disgrace ... still don't feel that goal was pivotal in the changing of the game. There was still a good 70 mins of that game to be played.

The Chelsea game, and that penalty was in the last few minutes. Had it been given, it's safe to assume that the result would have remained the same. Chelsea would be now two points down, and us a point more. The 2 point difference would have made a massive difference.

I think we could break the 100 goals barrier in the league. That would be an incredible achievement. 27 needed from 10 games. We still have Norwich to play too :P

With ten games to go, how many wins do you think we'd need to win the title? I'd say eight, with one of them hopefully coming against Chelsea.

Can we win eight out of the remaining ten games? Yes. It will be harder as the pressure grows though. Our players have no experience of winning a title, Chelsea and Man City do.
Would be even more fun if you could stand up to a hook to the jaw for being a snidey bastard. But then that's reality! No one needs to 'swim or drown' in a coward's paradise.

Nine or possibly all of them. And two of them would have to be against City and Chelsea.

Win 7 out of 10 and  I reckon 3rd is ours. 80 points plus better GD will do Arsenal I think. They've got to go to Chelsea, Everton, Spurs and have City at home. They are all games they could lose or draw without the fact that they look tired anyway.

All 10. Just cannot see Chelsea dropping alot of points. Their run in is very easy.

Like I said previously. If we win all our games, that would make it a 14 consecutive games winning run: a new record in the history of the English league.

Highly improbable but the Reds are making us dream again.

Both of those teams are capable of getting at least a draw against Chelsea. If both of them are scrapping over 4th spot by time they play the plastics, they will be fighting like fuck to get/stay ahead of each other. Could work in our favour that.

I really like the fact that we're chasing and not leading the league at this point. The last ten games puts immense pressure on the leaders and I don't think we're equipped yet to handle that sort of pressure.

Mourinho has been there and done it but he's also got some tricky if not the hardest games to play. Ideally I want us to be 1-2 points behind with City and Chelsea coming to Anfield. Pressure on them to keep the lead while we smash them at home.

Agree. We're chasing and we have nothing to lose. Chelsea and Man C (and Arsenal) have something to lose. I don't doubt their ability to cope with the pressure. However, it's better to be the team with nothing to lose. We can be the team that plays to win a trophy, while the others play not to lose it.

Sure but it's still valid to evaluate teams remaining games - you can't just say "well everyone has 10 left and teams will slip up"
Chelsea have the easiest schedule (or at least you'd definitely prefer theirs to ours) and therefore the highest expectation from their remaining games.
It doesn't mean they will win the league or we won't but that plus the points gap makes them a significant favourite over us
