Demichelis is the injured rumour, so expect to see Lescott or Nastasic (I think this is good news, personally!)

Both are more disciplined.

I've not seen much of Demichelis but isn't Nastasic just a walking disaster?

U21 left back.  Rodgers has had his eye on him for a while, he's fast, good defensively and gets up and down the flanks very well.  Great crosser of the ball.

Nobody is deluded for suggesting that a 19 year old watched and invited to join the first team by the manager may get a go.

Is Brendan Rodgers ruthless enough? He definitely is...
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

Cissokho starts.. As I said he should...

Let's hope he shows his worth today.

Smith on the bench, hope he gets a run out

Not to sound too negative, but just look at that City team. Ouch. 1 point would be massive.
Manchester United could win fifty titles, but they will always be the Rolling Stones of football. Good, just not quite that band from Liverpool.
