Will be an intriguing game mate. Theyve been anything but Messilona of late
Yeah they have been shit.

If it weren't for Real & Atletico choking at the end they would have been way out of it by now.

Pretty annoying that the Atletico - Barcelona game is on at exactly the same time as the FA Cup final. Hopefully ITV doesn't fuck things up by mentioning the score from La Liga so that I can watch that one on record

Fancy Barca to win it now. Unbelievable really given the season they've had.
Beating Real Madrid home and away and a draw at the Calderon you mean?

People still underrate Cristiano Ronaldo.

No he meant losing to Sociedad, Athletic,  Valencia, Valadollid abd drawing with Getafe, Elche and Levante.

I shouldn't worry about it, I doubt ITV know there's any other games on.

C'mon Atletico.

I quite like a lot of the Barca players, but I feel like Atletico deserve it this year. It'll be a huge slap in the face of moneybags Madrid and the likes of City and Chelsea if they pull off the league CL double.

Realistically Atletico winning is better for everyone.

Chances are this Atletico team will be broken up over the summer - Costa is already going and others will to pay off their debts - so this could be their one chance, and with Barcelona, winning this would paper over the numerous cracks in the club...

The thing is, you can talk about Barca being shit this season, which by their own extraordinary standards they have, but at the end of a 38 game season if you win the league, you deserve to win the league. We had the same issue with City. We were the underdogs against a moneybags club, but at the end of the day we didn't deal with the pressure as well as they did and they won the league because regardless of how awesome a season we had, they were 2 points better. Don't have to like it but it's true. If Barca beat Atletico today and win the league, regardless of how shit you may think they've been, they will have deserved to win it.

Although for the record I want Atletico to win a League and Champions League double.

Watch the Spanish game first, no chance they'll mention the cup final and it'll be miles better anyway.

Same time as the FA Cup final.

That's pretty inconsiderate timing, isn't it?

Surely it would have attracted more viewers if they'd just played the game directly following the FA Cup. Would certainly have provided additional synergy and a lot of football fans around the world would have made Saturday the "final" day of football for the league season. with two trophies to be fought over.

Fortunately, I'm not keen on watching the Hull Arsenal match (unless Hull is leading by two goals heading into the final hour!), but neutrals would have liked to have enjoyed both games.

Pretty annoying that the Atletico - Barcelona game is on at exactly the same time as the FA Cup final. Hopefully ITV doesn't fuck things up by mentioning the score from La Liga so that I can watch that one on record

I would love if the rumors are true and Peter Lim owns Benfica players like Rodrigo and another one I forgot his name. They were rumored to go to Valencia this summer.

How cool would it be if Spain had 4 top teams again? Malaga project disappointed in the end, so here is hoping that this will go smoothly. Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Valencia fighting for the league, and Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Villarreal fighting for a spot in top 4 and Europa League positions.

Spain needs proper sugar daddies.

Here is how Valencia takeover went
http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/108303/valencias-future-to-be-decided-on-saturday/

Honestly, all of the options are shady. They had some sheikhs interested, but they dropped out quickly.

Here is what Valencia fans wrote

Quote
some people say the process had already shortlisted 4 proposals to select the winner from:

- Wang Jianlin/Wanda (China)
- Cerberus Capital Management (US)
- Zolotaya Zvezda – Gold Star (Russia)
- Meriton Capital (Hong Kong)

If that is true, then:
- No Arab Sheikhs;
- None has the required sportive expertise;
http://www.xtratime.org/forum/showthread.php?t=243427&page=64

Quote
Read about Cerberus Capital Management. I don't like it, they're a proper investment company which has no interest in sports but profit. This doesn't work in football. Feinberg might seem sensible but dealing with a fund specialized in LBO's and securities which are on the brink of bankruptcy... I'm sceptical.

Meriton Capital was the fund which bought Rodrigo and Andre Gomes from Benfica, they're heavily tied with Jorge Mendes, I'm not a huge fan of having Mendes dealing and wheeling at our club.

Can't find much about Golden Star, except if it's a gold mining company which seems pretty damn odd if true.

Wanda seems like the best option of them all, sure, he's also a guy who made his fortune from investments but he seems to atleast be somewhat culturally interested which could be an indicator that he understands that football isn't a profitable business from the start, especially now with the FFP-bullshit

I just hope Valencia don't collapse because of this sale. Reading the news, the Russians and Chinese seem more like sugar daddies, people who would invest tons of money. Whereas Americans were always going to be investors that are interested in profit, but not trophies or football (see Kroenke, Glazer etc.).

Peter Lim doesn't exactly seem wealthy enough to spend like Abramovich or sheikhs, but he also owns/co-owns bunch of good players together with Jorge Mendes. So they can use Valencia to:

1. Build a strong team that can compete with Barca and Madrid, and get their return on investments
or
2. Use Valencia as a marketing team for their players that they will keep selling to Chelsea, ManCity, PSG, Barca, Madrid etc.

I am afraid the second is more likely. That's why may be they should have sold the club to Chinese or Russians.

Such a great team that, I hope they can pull this off and I think they will. All they need is a draw, Barcelona will be get destroyed on the counter if they push too many people forward.

Also what's Barcelona playing at only giving Atletico only 447 tickets, bit of a cuntish move that  :lmao
