Allen is playing so him and Lucas and keep the ball ticking and winning it at the back which should give freedom to Gerrard up front with suarez.

Henderson is playing on the left so he can drive inside and cover for Enrique who will be playing more like a left winger at anfield.

I can see this being a very comfortable win for Zenit. They will get one goal on the counter attack after a good start by us in which we miss at least one good chance and then stroke it around for fun whilst we run around like headless chickens trying to retrieve it and then get a few more in the process.

I just heard Brendan saying that he made a mistake putting too much trust in the youngsters in the FA Cup game.

The reason we are even in this position to play in the KO stages of the Europa is because he put trust in the youngsters.

He said he made a mistake in the Oldham game specifically. Not that bringing the youngsters in in general was a mistake.

We shouldn't be playing youngsters, our squad should be big enough to cope with every competition. For example, Agger and Johnson cannot be risked due to their injury record, Enrique was injured so others have to come in but we bring in Wisdom, Robinson and Coates which isn't good enough for Liverpool.
