Surprised they are resting so many after a weeks break & the final in another.... two weeks off for the stars could be a mistake. Looking forward to seeing our midfield with a bit more creativity in & more attack focused Henderson or Allen in with Gerrard & Lucas does not offer enough I think.... so this is very exciting!

Hmmmmmm - Initial thoughts = Worried about not having Henderson

I'd expect Coutinho to play from the left, with Suarez behind Sturridge, though with a fair bit of interchange.

Henderson's omission perhaps a reflection that despite his belated RAWK fan club, he's dipped slightly in the last game or two and could probably use a break.

I'd expect Glen Johnson, amongst others, to be fired up by the sheer awfulness of WBA and make amends.

I wish they weren't, it would have been a good test. We have nothing but Europa to play for in the League so I would have preferred a stronger line to gauge how far we have come. Feel both sides when playing to full strength are quite evenly matched up.

So he's to blame for all of Aggers mistakes?!? Carragher has been playing well, that's why he's starting. Agger has shipped goals and its him that's lucky to be playing, not Carra.

Then the question could just as easily have been 'why is Agger starting'? Carragher is the best of a bad bunch on current form. I fancy us to be fine in the absence of Michu though.
