Go on then, down the local bookies, Swansea +1. You'll nearly double your money.

I wouldn't do that. I'd put draw no bet on Swansea to win.

£500 on Swansea to win (draw no bet) returns £1250.

Will have to contemplate it.

Haha, think what you like. I've done this many times in the past. I put £800 on us to beat Aston Villa in THAT season. We won 5-0 or 5-1 and the bet returned around £1300. Done it a few times over the years, where I put bigger money on relatively safe bets, meaning when I win, I get a few hundred back, which is always nice.

The only thing that's putting me off doing it today, is that I have a bad feeling about it. I've never lost one of these bets. Whenever I have a dodgy feeling about it, I tend to stay clear.

Hence why I said I am contemplating it for now.

Winning this would put us in such a good position. 2 points behind Arsenal, 3 behind Everton. Therefore you just know that, no matter what, we will NOT win this game.

I'd be willing to stick £500 on us not winning. That's how confident I am of it being the case. I'm just so fucking used to it now and we can NEVER put a run of 2 wins together, quite frankly, it's pathetic.

Love your positivity mate!

Love your positivity mate!

To be fair, I usually tend to be right. Before the Norwich, Wigan and Reading games, I predicted that we'd win. We did. With all the other games, I expressed my doubts. What happened? draws and losses.

This is one of those games.

I've heard Henderson starts, as do Johnson and Enrique. No Wisdom.

Instead of? Sahin?

The configuration will have to change then as Hendo surely cannot play as the AM in that setup, as Sahin has been doing mostly. Hopefully its Gerrard in AM rather than Allen or Hendo.

Would have liked to see Shelvey start though.

Would prefer Suso.  He gets on the ball and involved more centrally.  If we don't get the ball to Assaidi he'll hover out wide doing nowt.

No idea, but I'd be very surprised if he didn't. Would be harsh to drop him after his best performance for us. If the rumoured team is correct, I'd guess the bench is: Jones, Carragher, Coates, Sahin, Shelvey, Suso, Cole. Basically comes down to Cole or Downing.

So what you are saying is you thought we'd win the easier games and loose/draw the harder ones. Well done.
Then in the midddle out pops a smiling glen johnson pulling up his jersey to reveal a t-shirt of suarez with a text saying. "OUR SUAREZ IS A FRIEND TO ALL COLOURS!"

I'd prefer Assaidi and Sterling either side of Suarez. Would cause Swansea defence havoc. Suso can come in in the last 30 minutes and lift the team, like he did at Chelsea.

So that'd be:

Reina
Johnson - Skrtel - Agger - Enrique
Allen - Henderson
Sterling - Gerrard - Assaidi
Suarez

Can't see it. Assaidi didn't do much vs YB.

Suso shouldn't be starting league games IMO. Much more effective as an impact player & Wigan had too much control of midfield with Suso playing centrally. Imagine what Swansea at home would do.
