id take dempsey here in a beat

Would you? I think he was a dodged bullet, been awful for Spurs.

2 goals from 14 apps for Spurs, last thing we need is a midfielder who doesn't score.

Probably been said time and time again, but I would have loved for us to have gone for Defoe instead of Keane.

If Pep accepts, Roman will get rid off Rafa, regardless how Rafa's season progresses.

I meant bringing Mourinho back. Not getting rid of rafa.

No. Not many in Europe did.

I didn't think so but I wasn't sure if it was a bit of a blind spot for me and it had been around for years.

For some reason I found it funny that West Ham, managed by Allardyce, played the formation.

Maybe a silly question but I thought you always had to wear your away kit away from home?

Errm no, have we ever worn a change in the derby? Might be a clue for your answer.

Only if your home kit clashes with the home team's.

Suarez gave that to Sterling way way to early. They were 2 v 1 He keeps running he draws the defender to him then slots it to Sterling who has the keeper to beat.

But he wanted it back, hes too greedy sometimes

still dont really understand why nathan dyer wasnt sent off for the challenge on reina. i'm not bitter about the result or anything it's just one of those annoying inconsistencies in football. just because 'he was within his rights to go for it' doesnt mean he should be excused leading with his studs up and his boot at least a foot high in the air.

i know he got the ball but just imagine for a second that he followed through into someones shin like that. i think most would then be arguing for a red. for example, see rodwell's red card in the derby against us

totally, he keeps his leg straight after the challenge with the studs up.
had that of been Suarez people would be screaming blue murder.

2nd time this season we have been done out of a win by an offside goal that wasn't.

Was the offside goal actually on? Looked off when I saw it (on the tele) during the match.

You can't compare it to the Everton goal though. That defo would have won us the match.

Teams used to play what we'd notate as a 4-2-3-1 now. Just wasn't notated like that. Can think to the Mancs playing what we'd label a 4-2-3-1 in Europe about 20 years ago. Sure there'll be others if you watch the match with eyes for anything other than an obligatory 4-4-2.

MOTD showed an angle, and Chicos foot was playing him onside I think
