Good luck Brendan. It seems like Rafa and Villas-Boas were never really under consideration, which is odd certainly in the second case, but both of those became who they were thanks to a big club taking a punt on someone much like Brendan Rodgers. His Swansea side have definitely been an interesting watch this season. He is a big risk though, I think, in terms of expecting an instant impact. It will be very interesting to see what sort of remit he's got the job under. Is he expected to get into the top 4 again straight away, or will we see a change of emphasis, a stripping out of higher earning older players and a huge emphasis on building from the youth ranks?
Either way, we've got the manager in place now, it will be interesting to see what we do in the transfer market.
