Ghost Recon Future Soldier
« on: May 21, 2012, 12:08:48 am »
Anyone getting this?

Advert makes it look class although I haven't watched any gameplay as of yet.

Love the GR games, out on Friday and think I'll be getting it!

Was looking at an ad for it, earlier. Think I might invest in it, myself.

Play the demo on Xbox live.

Must admit didn't enjoy the multiplayer game much, mind you I was crap at it which didn't help.

I remember this being demoed at E3 last year I think, although it was heavily focused on kinect. I do like games like ghost recon/rainbow six, bit more tactical than spray and pray cod.

Although I fear that the invisible camo is going to get completely overused online!

The invisible camo is only affective when crouching and moving slowly. Any time you shoot, or stand and move (walking or running) it stops working.

Plays well in single player at least.

I'd buy this on Friday if the reviews between now and then are good. Mostly interested in the single player side of things.

I enjoyed the previous games and this looks the part. Hopefully we'll hear more over the next couple of days.

The game is designed to be played in co-op to get the most out of it.
The single player works well, but is much better to play with others.

I've enjoyed my time both in SP and Co-op though.

Good to know, and having just checked Eurogamer their review is up and it got an 8, and came off pretty well. I might well pick this up as I've got some games to trade.

Had a couple of online games so far, finding it hard to adjust to really but that might be down to the battlefield and cod that I've hammered the last few years.

The recoil seems shockingly bad but that may be down to my weapons having no attachments also the controls could of been a little better aid out.

Graphics are a bit disappointing for a 2012 release but looking forward to getting on the co-op campaign going to hang on until Friday when a few other lads have picked it up to start that.

Solid shooter, bit uninspired but some nice touches. Enjoyed the drone stuff and the four people choosing targets to take down. Not a massive fan of army games but played this for a fair bit so it must have something going for it.

Aye, just pure fun online mate, only played for 30 mins but loved every second of it, even with no sound effects! ;D

Apparently it's just a minor issue and they're working on a fix now, should be out sometime during the week so happy days, can live with no hearing gun shots for a week online :thumbup

Had another go last night, the sound effects dropping where fixed by restarting the xbox, patch still on the way though thankfully.

Ended up in a match with both teams playing the objective, far far far more enjoyable!
