Hope Kerry win Sam now, we where off the pace and played really poor. Word is not all is good in Camp Dublin and Dessie is not so popular. We will be back.
They'll tear up your Dublin passport if they hear you're shouting for Kerry in the final.
Farrell is a poor enough coach really.

Kerry - Tyrone now fixed for 28 August with the AI Final now on 11th September.

I'd like to see Mayo win it, but I just feel there's too many players in their ranks who are too used to losing finals

I suspect its somewhat of a mental block for many of them now

Fair play to their supporters though. They keep coming back for more hurt year in year out

Double fracture to the jaw. Surgery tomorrow.

If the GAA had any balls they'd ban John Small for the first 3-5 games of next year's championship. Never gonna happen though.

Well done to the green and red. Wasn't greatly surprised that we lost, the signs were concerning beforehand, but was amazed about the manner of the defeat. Its very rare that a team of proven winners capitulate in the manner Dublin did. If Mayo had found a way to lose a match where they were an unflattering 6 points up at half time they would be crucified and they would have had the weight of history on their backs. As I said though its a big well done to the winners, they turned it around with a great mix of courage, tenacity and athleticism. No small amount of skill either.

Horrible in what way? They're harmless crathers

Ban him for what exactly?

As Kevin McStay correctly pointed out on the Sunday Game last night, if you're going to size up an opponent for a big hit (particularly when he can't see you coming) then you have a duty of care to ensure you execute it correctly. I think it's pretty clear from the way Small went into the challenge that he had little to no concern for McLaughlin's safety. I wouldn't say its a 3 game ban offence, but it was definitely reckless, definitely endangerment of an opponent, and definitely a straight red. For that, he deserves a 1 game ban IMO

Absolutely capable of winning. Cork are and always have been my ‘second’ county and I love seeing them going well. The difference with Cork is that they expect to win AI finals when they get to them. Limerick may have the physicality but Cork are Cork and if they get the swagger going they could do it.

I feel this is one of those games where we'll either scrape it by a point or 2, or get absolutely leathered by 10+ points

Cork will definitely need goals to stand a chance today. At least 2, possibly 3

Limerick could go home at HT and Cork still wouldn't get to 3-19.

No physicality about this Cork team. Letting Limerick have way too much time and space and getting pressed like hell in their defence. Limerick are an awesome team to be fair.

Jaysus that’s as good a performance as I’ve ever seen. Kinda reminds me of the 2008 final between KK and Waterford. That was just as big a mismatch. Cork have nothing to lose her so they should just go for it

Thanks Sarge, as a Limerick man, this is incredible, so used to being the bridesmaid, this period of absolute dominaiton is surreal.

Have been going since 1993. Always watching them fall short. My Dad goes with me, he is 71 and was ready to quit. So we were both there in 2018, best day ever. Since then we have been spoiled. Couldn't get a ticket to this one, was an awesome performance, great for those that went. Have to say, felt sorry for Cork though, as a fan you want to see your side compete. I remember going in 2007 and the game was done in the first half and all you could do was sit there and wait for it all to end. So, yeah, sorry Cork lads, you have a lot of great players coming through, so you will be back, but this was not your year.

That wasn't a victory it was a complete swatting. Men and boys. You'll enjoy the taste of that. Cork were beaten physically and mentally off the park. There's always next year I suppose.

Yeah, I had a feeling Limerick would give us a right hammering if they stole an early march on us.

Their 2nd goal set them on their way and there was only ever going to be one outcome from then on

No qualms or complaints. They've superstars all over the park. They'll take some stopping for the next few years
