What time phenomena?

Like just then, when time repeated itself.

Thought the premise of Lister/Lister's dad was really good, but I get the feeling it could've been funnier.  Felt really rushed at the end too.

Know what you mean. There's something not quite right. Good ideas everywhere but not a satisfying conclusion in sight. This week or last. Still, I'm buzzing its back and it hasn't been shite. It's been really promising so far, but not quite there. I so, so want this series to be great again.

Excellent for me. Really enjoyed it. Loads of good gags.

This is what they used to do. Manic episodes followed by mellow, followed by funny, followed by pseduo threats and mixing it up.

Been great so far.

Agree that the ending was a little rushed though.

Yeah it was. The bit I saw before my Virgin box crashed was the astrophyics for Lister (Which I got confused with Queegs saying Holly had a junior book of science :) )

The venders feature more in another episode later in the series, so maybe this was to introduce them. Fingers crossed its funny.

it was the same shape as a good red dwarf idea, but somehow it wasn't.  very flabby, which i guess is appropriate where lister is concerned.

still very good fun though.

I'm going to be the only one who thought that was utter rubbish, aren't I?!

Utter rubbish - maybe a tad harsh but it was pretty poor, don't think i laughed once.

I'm hoping they up their game soon cos while the feel is better than the latter seasons, the jokes/laughs ain't up to scratch in general and are soooOOOOooo far short of seasons 1 - 6.

Charles said three of the episodes in X would be in his top ten RD episodes ever. Guess you could argue he's gotta big it up but if he genuinely means that they're gonna have to be a quantum leap above the first two episodes.
