Haven't been online in over a week, so let me get this out now:

Torres is a grade A cu*t.
"I know Liverpool fans care more about their club's success than the national team." Rafael Benitez

"Still we've had the hard times too - one year we finished second." Bob Paisley

"When zonal marking goes wrong, the system is blamed. When man-to-man marking fails, an individual is blamed and the system goes uncriticised." A LFC fan talking sense

On Sky they said that Liverpool's team talk would be easy, "make sure Torres doesn't end up on the winning side", think Hodgson used a similar team talk for most of his time in charge! Well done Liverpool :D

Enjoy your new club, you deserve each other.

Torres has made a really bad decision. It has nothing to do with us beating them today but seriously he should of joined Man City. For me hes got 2 years max to win that CL cause if they dont I believe they wont in his time there.

Man City will spend big when they get into the CL. Aresenal kids are growing up, Utd are utd and will always be around and us have what I think the best youth set up in the PL.

The owners said they want to win the league in 3 years. Torres knew that but for the owners to back up what they say they have to spend money. Torres should of waited to see what happened in the summer.

Anyway fuck Torres. We're a better TEAM without him.

I love Harry Kewell for taking Rat face out in a game at Anfield.

I will love any player that takes Torres out and that includes Poulsen.

Take the fucker out!!

Agger was immense aswell as general carra had him in there pockets. I think at the end with that screen shot with rauls goal, torres probably realised what he was leaving behind.

I fucking knew we'd get that gentlemen's rule in place so that he couldn't play.

Well in Kenny.
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

Hasslebank hit the nail on the head on friday. He questioned chelsea buying torres not becuase he isnt world class becuase he is, but they needed a playmaker to create for there forwards and torres is just a finisher so that does solve that issue.

I am really happy about today's result -- though getting tired of the Torres slating. He was promised things that didn't happen. We are in a better position without him. Get over it. Move on. Appreciate the players that we do have and show a bit of class.

Chelsea will have to spend and sell now, i think they sell 6 players in summer... we should try to get Zhirkov imo.. couse he will be one of them imo..

Time to close all these Torres threads, perhaps.

Seeing him in a blue shirt was closure. He's just another Chelsea player now.

The focus now should not be on who the owners are, but limits on what owners can do without formal supporter agreement. At all clubs.

Exactly. Last week hurt like hell but we went out and spent the cash which lifted everyones spirits and now there's no looking back.

Fernando was a top top player for us but he is the past. As Kenny keeps telling everyone - the most important players are those who are at the club.

Goodbye Fernando. Enjoy the rest of your career.
Has Steven Gerrard scored a goal even more important than the one he got against Olympiakos - Is this the start of something BIG?
