Too many words to translate right now especially with the internet being too slow.

Would do it later if the net isn't cut.

They are police thugs being paid by Mubarak, they are trying to beat the protesters in the Tahrir square.

This is surely right. We tend to forget that even police states develop profound loyalties. They may be based on graft and corruption and nepotism but they are strong nonetheless. Just as in Romania or Argentina or Iraq there are people who will lose everything once the strongman goes.

New PM Ahmed Shafik is threatening to quit after what happened today in Tahrir Sq. He said yesterday in a televisied interview that no one will ever be harmed at that area and seeing what Mubarak did today he is outraged that his orders weren't taken by the Mubarak thugs.

If that happens then thats the end, surely.

They are there, who allowed the state forces to pass through their lines. AlJazeera has been broadcasting nobody got through the tank cordon around the square without showing I.D.Also, who is using water cannon on the demonstrators? By allowing the state thugs to attack the protesters the army has shown its hand, its taken the side of its Commander in Chief.

Looks very intersting, would shatter any remaining credibility for the Govt and the thuggish police in Egypt. I was utterly baffled that there is Pro-Mubarak protesters!

I'd love to sit down and read it but unfortunately for me, 15 years living in the UK means that I now have the reading ability of a 6 year old. :D I could read it and translate but that wouldn't get completed until the 2012 Olympics!

Yeah, my capacity to read Arabic isn't what it used to be but from scanning those two pages, I don't see how Mubarak will be able to save face (assuming those are genuine, of course).

I'm really happy to have all our Egyptian posters back, safe and in one piece.

Today's turn towards increased violence is worrisome.  Hopefully, it's nothing more than the final spasms of a dying regime rather than a harbinger of a civil war.

I thought the camels were a wonderful touch.  At least no-one can accuse Mubarak and his cronies of not selling Egyptian stereotypes to their western audience.

Oh Mr fucking linguistics professor losing his top ;D

It's basically going over underhanded tactics to quell the rebellion and keep Husni's govt around and in power. I can't be fucked to translate it word for word, so I used Google to find the story in English, which you should get used to doing yourself.

Quote
Police and security agents infiltrated the demonstrators in Egypt, while popular committees are organized to protect the neighborhoods. Thugs are paid to cause unrest among the demonstrators. Rumors are launched to provoke disorder and panic among the protesters.

    * Secret documents from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, revealed a plan established by Hosni Mubarak to break the revolt led by the people claiming his departure from power.
    * These documents also reveal the involvement of elements of the police in acts of vandalism experienced in many regions of Egypt, in order to create a mess with the help of militias composed of habitual criminals and thugs handsomely paid.
    * These documents, published by the Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera yesterday, of which Ennahar holds a copy, reveals a diabolical plan to divert the Egyptian revolt of its initial objectives and to ensure sustainability of the regime in place for three decades. This latter aims to infiltrate the protesters, spread rumors and cause disorder in addition to acts of vandalism. Rumors such as the one on prisoners who would have fled prisons and whose numbers would be impressive to create a climate of fear among the protesters; women police officers, posing as simple citizens, call TV and radios stations to lament about the lack of security and ask for protection against attacks on people and property.
    *
    * Moreover, opponents and party leaders are watched; their phones tapped, in addition to the cutoff of communications like the Internet from Friday morning 6 am.
    * The document also reveals the Mubarak regime's plan to empty all police centers of their prisoners, weapons and ammunition. The prisoners are transferred to the central prison and police officers in plain clothes, took their places in prisons, posing as prisoners.
    * By these evil means as infiltration of demonstrators, replacement of prisoners by police and security officers, and especially rumors, the regime tends to break the revolt led for nearly a week by the Egyptian people claiming the departure of the Rais and the change of regime.

Haven't heard this on either the BBC or Aljazeera but even if its correct what credibility can the past head of a tyrannical security service have?

On the leaked document Aljazeera must be sitting on it, no mention of it today at all.
