Norwegian ice-hockey where playoff have started..

1 vs 8 and 2 vs 7 in best of 7 matches..

1 and 2 (sparta and stavanger oilers) playing away tonight and can evens plus is available for a double. The top 2 might drop 1 during the playoffs but are so much better that they will proceed to next round with 99 % certainty. Sparta having 6 of 6 vs trondheim this year and is the strongest single candidate.
It’s not even about individuality, it’s about the team. Our game was based on his controlling of the tempo. Squeeze the life out of the opposition and then strike. That is our game. Like a pack of pythons.

Well, all my lads have made the cut thankfully. Stanley and Sabbatini are a long way ahead but hopefully will come back towards the field tomorrow.

WGC Cadillac at the Doral

Some incredible 3 balls going out tomorrow.

Woods, Mcdowell and Mickelson.
Kaymer, Westwood and Donald.
Watney, Singh and Scott.
Casey, Mcilroy and Stricker.
Quiros, Mahan and Jimenez.

The list goes on!  Golf as it should be.

I'm gonna stick to my guns with 4 players this week and have an each way punt on each of them.
I have however taken Poulter out, a bit inconsistent right now.

Bubba Watson @ 40/1
Robert Karlsson @ 80/1 (great odds for the bigman)
Martin Laird @ 100/1
Johnny Vegas @ 125/1

4 fold - 3balls - Watney, Ogilvy, Kuchar and Clark

Anyone taking a punt this week?

Paddypower have a special on in their shops.

20/1 for G-Mac this week. Had to take it.
So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Supposedly the easiest greens around on this WGC course but quite tricky off the tee by all accounts.

My Main bet this week is Luke Donald at 28-1

Side bets on an In form Thomas Bjorn and accurate guys off the tee Mark Wilson and Bo Van Pelt - All 3 of these over 100-1 depending which bookie and more like 200-300 on the exchanges.

Liked the look of New Zealand in the Cricket the other night.

Very open competition this time so just had a small punt on the Kiwis.  fiver each to win and reach the final. 18-1 and 7-1.

I think Dolgopolov is worth a play in the tennis tonight against del Potro.

Just think that Dolgo's variety in his play (with his spin and slice shots) will unsettle DP a fair bit and he'll struggle to dominate him like he has other players since his comeback.

Nothing more than just a fancy so I've laid DP at 1.4 with a view to trade later on.

Grand Prix season starts this weekend, anyone on anything ante-post or for Australia itself?

I seen Vettel/Webber dual forecast tipped (for the season), which I liked the look of, but the price quoted was 17/2 and I can only see 11/2.

Wouldn't be the first time they've tipped a price that is bigger than it actually is.

Norwegian play-off hockey (semis) and going for home teams.. (best of 7 matches)

The strongest team - sparta - is having 3-1 in matches and can wrap it up on home ice tomorrow.. Very good stats during the season and is overall a stronger team so should take this..

Stavanger oilers at home vs lorenskog (2-2 in matches after oilers winning 5-2 away). Oilers needs to make use of their home advantage and have looked stronger in this series..

Double available at 2,40-2,60..

It’s not even about individuality, it’s about the team. Our game was based on his controlling of the tempo. Squeeze the life out of the opposition and then strike. That is our game. Like a pack of pythons.

Dunno.

I like the look of a Vettel/Alonso straight forecast at 7/1, especially since team orders are now allowed.

Vettel made countless errors last season, yet still won the title. You got to think Red Bull will 'officially' favour Sebastian, leaving Alonso to pip Webber.

It'll be a three horse race.  Vettel, Alonso, Schumacher.  One of those three will win the title.
