If people are purely watching this because of how the women look then may I suggest porn instead.

In regards to the race, hopefully the Chinese pair can get back into this as it would help my bank, think Tomescu may have it though.
So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

How is the Japanese girl Tosa doing anybody know? She was in bits at the very start limping.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. She looked like she was going to die on the track.

God, it is so unflattering that, after running for miles , sweaty, tired and feeling just plain horrid, that photographers just come and take random pics of you when your doing such non photo friendly actions!!!

I was thinking exactley the same thing. You would want to punch them

donniebrasco don't watch it then!!  Who's forcing you??

No one but there's not much else on and they NEVER show the weightlifting which i'm fucking furious about.

But they can dedicate hours to this so called race..Bird in the front runs..same bird wins..what race?

It's typical fucking BBC theyr'e obsessed with Radcliffe cos they're all ex runners and her pals so they have to dedicate the entire night to this dunce.

It's ridiculous..rant over. :(

Reckon she's gonna hang on actually, hope she does, very brave effort.

Likewise from Paula, hope she isn't doing permanent damage by carrying on.

Sad to see again for Paula but she can take solace in everything else she's achieved in her field. Right now it will be hurting but hopefully time will give her perspective to realise that Olympic gold just wasn't meant to be.

That's fair enough to be annoyed at a sport you prefer not being shown but the beeb is always going to give priority to events with Brits, especially Brits with a chance of medals (cycling was on the main channel ahead of the 100m semi-finals yesterday).

Not ideal, but there are some weightlifting videos here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympics/weightlifting/default.stm

Fine effort from Yamauchi, hope Paula can at least finish.

A shame she didn't get an Olympic medal in her great career.

Unless she gets one in London but at 38 then I can't see it.
So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." Incredibly unlucky when it comes to the Olympics. Her efforts in the past couple of months define determination.

Phelps now, last of the swimming finals.

Agree. Constantly talking rubbish during the race and calling nearly every race wrong while it's in play.
