By the way, the difference between the key penalty decisions in each leg (other than interpretation by different referees) is thus:

- Kuyt's was a sneaky, arm lock tug. He made it look tidier than it really was, particularly in real time.

- Toure was flailing around like a spastic, as if to alert the ref to his foul.

Was well impressed with Gerrard for stepping up for the penalty after having a pretty poor game by his standards and also for the honesty showed in his interview. Some spot kick too.

People should stop goin on about the penalty last week etc. I'm sick of commentators showing Kuyt incident. yes it was a penalty but they were different ref's and different situations,these things happen. Arsenal didnt take their chances over the two legs and Liverpool deserved to go through because they scored more goals-End of!!

I still remember their display after the 2006 final. Utter bitterness, blaming the ref for (correctly) sending off their keeper rather than awarding a Barca goal.

What? What? What?

There was still a foul, idiots! The ref was lenient on you by just sending of Lehmann and not doing as he should have done: Award a goal AND a red card.

The only scandal in that match was that the ref AGAIN favoured Arsenal by not booking Eboue for the despicable dive which led to their goal.

But not in the eyes of bitter, whiny Arsenal.
