Lisowski and McGill has been awful fare so far. 5 and a half frames in and neither player has made a 50 yet.

O'Sullivan polished off Un-Nooh in 108 minutes, the quickest time ever at the Crucible. I think I've seen Selby take longer over 1 shot.

Not quite nearly as bad, but also in need of binning is Rob Walker introducing players to nobody.

The bloke who used to commentate on football for Eurosport is doing it for the BBC this year and though I like him on football and he's not actually bad at snooker I just don't think it works per se. I think you need to know the game well.

Yan is having problems getting over the line against Slessor. He was 9-2 up but it's back to 9-7 now.

BBC showed a clip when it was 9-4 i think, Yan on the table, potted one of the colours, but cannoned the black & the black went in too & he lost the frame

He starts his last 16 match vs Ding Junhui on Friday 7th (evening session), then Saturday 8th (afternoon session) & finishes if needed, Sunday 9th (evening session).  Got from the World Snooker official website.

He will take some beating in this form.

Having a fiver on McGill to win. See it all the time where a player comes from a few frames back to level and force a decider only to fall at the final hurdle.

That Lisowski McGill match was excellent in the end. Watched their first session and thought, ‘this pair are a bit rubbish’ but that was great stuff last night. You can tell I’m not a huge snooker fan as that’s the first time I’ve seen Lisowski (is his nickname ‘the big’?) and at first I thought how the hell is he seeded? But realised last night that he’s got some raw talent. Just needs to get his head together a bit more, seems too emotional sometimes (but I guess they said that about the rocket and he’s not done too bad!)

He's trudd's mate apparently and needs to do what his mate did and actually win instead of being a decent player who plays some good stuff and loses.

Seems a bit reckless. Better players will usually pick him off I guess if he gives loads of chances.
